how did you extend the harness? i need to help a buddy do it on his sc400
@StaticGarageUSA Жыл бұрын
I removed all the wire shielding, separated them so they weren’t all tangled and intertwined, and then figured out how long I needed them. Once I knew that you just need to cut one at a time, and extend! As always I used bmw open barrel crimps, generic heat shrink, and the same size gauge wire!

If you don’t have access to the bmw stuff you can get the butt connectors that have heat shrink on them already and put another piece of heat shrink as extra protection over them. They sell all that stuff at autozone. As far as using the bmw stuff, I still always wrap a small piece of tape over the heat shrink as the copper wire may pierce through and touch eachother over time!
