I'm glad they finally noticed NCT and got started with Mark's "Child". This song is Mark solo debut, so this is not NCT, just Mark. Mark is one of the best rapper in Kpop industry and he's a main rapper of NCT 127 and NCT Dream. NCT is a group with 23 member with 4 subunit, their concept is grow with unlimited members. They start with 15 members in 2016, 18 in 2018, 21 in 2019 and 23 in 2020. NCT as a whole has 23 members! However there are different units they are split into. The units are NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, and NCT U. NCT 127 has 10 members, NCT Dream has 7 members (its kind of like the ‘kid group’) and WayV has 7 members (they are the Chinese subunit so their songs are in Chinese!) Basically, Mark is part of a group called NCT (they're the next boygroup project by sm entertainment after EXO). They got hella members (23 as of right now), but they're all split up into subgroups. Reason why they have so many members was because their concept was to initially have a group that has members from everywhere and for the group to have infinite members (aka ppl will continue to be added to either new or old subunits). So you have: NCT 127 (supposed to be based in korea as the core group, Mark is part of this sub group) NCT Dream (supposed to be a beginner sub group that was supposed to have everyone that was under 18. Marks main group since he's the leader here. Had a graduation system where after you were an adult you'd move onto another group but after Marks graduation they cancelled it and put him back in.) WayV (chinese based NCT subunit, had to have a different name bc of political relations with china/korea) NCT U (consists of basically whoever producers think will best suit the song, so the lineup is always different) NCT 20XX (2018/2020 basically a project type thing where NCT releases stuff with ALL current members across the board, includes mini subunits)
