On the drivers side bank, is that a high flow cat built into the original Y pipe? If so are you removing it since the passenger bank is not utilizing one before the Turbo?

Haha yeah it was a lot, but I’m happy with how it came out. I need to make a brace for it next. I’ve fixed a couple cracked welds so far. Damn stainless is as bad as cast iron 🤣

@@StationroadRatrods yeah. You almost need a TIG with stainless and it’s so prone to work hardening. But it did turn out beautifully. Like a guy with a plan - no plan - plan. 🤣

People won't even notice the welds once they hear the spooly boi. Also I wonder if using GM SPSS and something like a VCX Nano could disable those dash codes.

To be honest I don’t know what either of those things are

@@StationroadRatrods So GM SPSS is basically there way of programming the BCM module in GM/Chevy Trucks. VCX Nano is a way to interface with the GM/Chevy ECM/BCM. I have used a VCX Nano and a few free utilities to change the ECM settings in my truck to calibrate the tire size because of changes.

Holy if I could program the BCM that would be sick. Is there a tool to disable the abs, traction control, stabilitrak, etc?

@@StationroadRatrods I'm not sure how far it can go as I haven't really played around with it myself, but there is a youtuber called lowbuckls who kind of does some stuff with it.

Randy is the man, I actually just watched his video before seeing your comment haha. His video helped me hook up my wideband to the pcm for data logging a few years ago, learned a lot from him. He pops by here sometimes 🙂

The whole video I was trying to figure out what the shiz it mattered about how much or what was or wasn’t stainless steel, bra your using a flux core welder to put it together. I can appreciate the effort & idea but really😂😂😂
