His total is 15 because 0 appears once in the table so therefore you add up 1,2,3,4,5 which will give u a complete total of 15.

+Jadelyn Campbell it is not a sum of 1-5 but it is the total frequencies available in the data set, 3 rows and 5 columns. so to calculate the rel frequency. 0's frequency which is 1 is divided by 15, which gives the rel frequency of 0.07
