I've watched this a thousand times. I've cried and laughed a thousand times too. Not because of what we have lost or missed, but because we can relive it over and over again. Rick and Alan live on in our hearts. Forever Quo.

My God, Alan could make that bass guitar sing. I don't think anyone appreciates just how complicated some of the bass lines were/are in Quo music. Plus just how tight were they as a group? I don't think anyone realises the hours of rehearsal that go into making live shows like this. Rock on Quo.

Thank you for posting the best memories of my life 🎸🎸 1973 at age 13 i became a Quofan, now i'm 63 coming July, and this was and still is my life. From a teenage schoolboy to an old man,saw Quo Live over 300 times and this 4500 times was bl**dy amazing 💪 I remember that i saw it back in 1984 at age 24 and it was my first ever Quo Live gig on VHS tape. I was so sad that (that year) Francis said "We will stop playing live" and i cryed... Quo was 24/7 my life from 1973. Thank you again for posting this in a very high quality! Fantastic memories...

Oh boy. Great improvement in quality. Well done. I could have sworn I was only there yesterday!! Time has stood still. Would love to see this in its full entirety (without the edit) but I am grateful we have what we have. All of this is outstanding but from the 9:13 mark the playing takes on an intensity never since matched. Its just nuts. Gets me every time. Kudos to Pete here for playing for his life. Its a pity he didn't continue as he really found his place in the band on the EOTR tour. Probably the best rendition of 4500 Times ever.

Its losing out the different parts of this great masterpiece, they had hudge fun to perform it, the bb tuning on ricks guitar is greatly effectful.... giving the whole an constant rythm, alan and rossi soloing in the beginning of the first part, than in the endsection, its their way to say" here we are" Pumping bass, excel keyboards and solid drums. How to discripe an quo classic? Rock solid, nonse head down boogie rock.

It's worth looking at the description box above. I had both of the VHS vids and they were great. There is a combined version on YT. But I hadn't realised that they overdubbed in the studio (like most live albums of the time...) and not all of the nearly 3 hours worth of gig is/was available. Great band and great live but it didn't sound like this (nor at Oxford where I saw them on that tour.)

Alan Lancaster was the one true heart of Quo. He left when they sold their soul to the world of pop music. Yes ‘Rocking all over the world’ and ‘In the army now’ were lovely, but no more Caroline or 45 hundred times. Rossi & Parfitt sold their soul to the devil.
