Status Quo - More From The Road, Milton Keynes Bowl 21st July 1984 (Videoform Music)

In early 1984, Quo announced their farewell tour titled "The End Of The Road Tour". The last date of the tour would see the band perform to a crowd of 50,000 members of the Quo Army at the Milton Keynes Bowl. Quo played a 2 1/2 - 3 hour set which was filmed and recorded.
The gig was mixed and overdubbed whilst Quo were in the studio [Woldingham Surrey] on the 18th September 1984, whilst the footage was edited in October.
A VHS / Laserdisc of the gig was released in November '84 titled "End Of The Road, Farewell Concert". It achieved Gold Sales Status and was the best selling music video. A follow up titled "More From The Road" was released on VHS in 1985.

Wore out my vhs long ago. Thanks for this. I somehow got a new copy of volume one recently but "More from" is rare as hen's teeth! The roadies at the beginning are Nazareth guys, if my memory serves me right from that era, so I assume they were also on the bill. Great stuff!

I recently managed to get a copy of the More From VHS on eBay after years looking, as I wore out my copy also. It's also the first release of it under the VideoForm label that I got, and not the Channel 5 rerelease from '86. Keep your eyes out on eBay ;) you never know Cheers

Am I correct in beliveing that Rossi's live vocals were replaced in this video, because his voice was bad on the day of the gig?

Rick, Francis, and Alan all had to overdub vocals for this show, not all of it but the majority.

I love Quo, but this for me is one of their very worst performances. So lacklustre, if I’d have been there knowing this was their last gig I would’ve been so disappointed. Hold You Back, my favourite quo song, was a dirge from start to finish. Awful.

If you read Francis book he despises this gig, he over dubbed all his vocals as he was so out of it and Rick was miserable. It's one gig we'll never get re-released.
