I would add that you don’t want to have to wear special undergarments with your at home capsule.

Love all the outfits. Everything looks so summery. Where I live in Canada it's still cold. I'll have to save these ideas for July. But hopefully this self-isolation will be over by then. Great video. I adore that deep yellow top on you.

My dream capsule wardrobe for home centers on comfort and natural fabrics. I finally have plenty of tops for the spring and summer. Since I live in a hot and dry climate, I need plenty of shirt to make it through the week. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find clothes I'm not allergic to. This makes buying pants and shores difficult. So, my ideal stay-at-home capsule wardrobe would include more comfortable bottoms.

I have 10 tops, most of which are very comfortable. I have two comfortable bottoms. I would like at least two more bottoms and a hoodie.

If you have textile allergies you should only buy from brands that work with certified fabrics, meaning they were checked on toxicity and are safe. In Europe we have OEKO TEX, GOTS, Blue Angel certifications. (I am not sure where you’re from, so you might need to research this a bit by yourself). And another thing that you should definitely try is to wash your clothes with a washing powder for kids. Usually those have no toxic chemicals.

I'm a little late to the party, but I really love your videos. It's always an education to watch them ! I don't do capsules, but I was interested and started to think about it. Then, I realized that my current wardrobe covers all seasons, all occasions (work, home, going out, traveling, etc). I have 63 items of clothing (yes, I counted all of them), not including shoes and coats. Because it is all mostly cohesive, I don't want to divide it into categories or seasonal capsules. I found that I wear that summer t-shirt under a thick sweater in winter, or that the blazer that goes under a coat in winter can be used a light summer jacket. So, no storing away, no seasonal or themed capsule for me. Anyway, because my wardrobe is still faaaaar from perfect, I was wondering if you had any insight on how to create a minimal, all-occasions, all-seasons (real seasons) wardrobe ? Maybe with a little more items than your usual capsules, around 20 or 30 for instance ? Thank you so much for this great channel ! It's taught me so much !!

Your video was so helpful! I'm going to wear pants with more comfortable waistbands at home. My jeans' waistbands are restrictive. I grew up thinking elastic waist pants were mom pants. Otherwise known as, old fashioned pants. I am loving the elastic waistband idea especially to be comfortable at home.-Kathy

Hi Daria, I love your videos! Just recently found your channel but already watched loads. 😃 Looking forward to seeing more from you. Also just wanted to mention that your audio comes up a bit more quiet than other channels I watch. The quality is really good I just find that when I switch to your video I have to raise the volume. Otherwise everything is amazing 😊

Yes, that can be an option as well! I have to go outside at least 3 times per day because I have a dog. So changing all the time is a bit annoying in my case. 🤷♀️

Although I would love to just walk out wearing the clothes I wear inside my house, I cannot because I have stains on them (food stains from cooking and also thanks to my kids, chlorox bleach stains from washing and cleaning, paint stains thanks to my kids and just dirt stains from kneeling in pools of mess made by my children) and most often some part of my outfit is wet at any given time.. water/ spilled juice etc etc.
@highcrowstairs2 жыл бұрын
You could try wearing an apron or a house dress/loosely fitted dress over your outfit and when it’s time to go out just remove the top layer 🙂 I’m not sure of a solution for water getting on your clothes… maybe find clothes that dry easily?

It was a great capsule, but I am watching from New Zealand. We are going into Winter....shorts and t-shirts are just not going to cut it I'm afraid🙁😷
@wonderwardrobe4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The only difference is that you need to choose long pants and long sleeves tops. The advices for choosing fabrics, design and style are still valid 😉
@mjsimmons26053 жыл бұрын
So why not change them to long pants and sleeves in warmer fabrics? Choose a color pallet that works for your skin tone as well as winter. 😀

Are the synthetic fabrics so bad for our health? Sometimes I still wear some of my old synthetic clothes touching my skin
@kupaadop4 жыл бұрын
I guess it depends on how sensitive your skin ist, how many hours you wear the synthetic fabric and if you wear it directly in your skin. If it isn't special sportswear the skin cannot breathe in a lot of synthetic fabrics. The sweat stays inside and bacteria can grow and irritate the skin (especially If it has been shaved or treated in any other way).
@wonderwardrobe4 жыл бұрын
Yes, most of them are bad for our health but it also depends where it was produced and sold as different countries have their own regulations. I have a video about this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6GWmYiHhZ2MeJo 😉
