Stay Calm

Some people are just going to be ignorant no matter how many times you tell then you're deaf. That's what happened to me a my primary doctors appointment. The nurse checking me didn't seem to care if I was deaf. Wouldn't talk loud enough for me to hear her at all. But I stayed calm and when the doctor came in I told him what happened. He was shocked I stayed so calm. Believe me that nurse did not check out. Thing is when it happens stay calm. It's not worth getting stressed out and triggering vertigo.

Sorry you had this experience. Glad you spoke up to the doctor. Hopefully this won't happen to anyone else going to that practice.
