As a spurs fan I am always sticking up for him, he should be the second name on the team sheet after Kane IMO. He struggles at time with his composure in the final 3rd and that's what sticks in the heads of spurs fans. I personally think that 3 in the middle would help him massively

Hojberg is good defensive wise, but foing forward he lacks alot of things, from the full season, u could count the amount of times he contributed to goal, including during the buildup he is way behind bentacaur. He just play safe passes most times and something thats really bad is that he always plays a safe pass during a transition. Maybe he could improve but bissouma is way better at breaking lines and driving the midfiled forwards. Idk we'll see what conte does

The list was pretty much spot on and Joe was right with what he says about literally every player 😄 Only change I’d make would be to swap Emerson and Rodon. Emerson is a fine RB but awful going forward and will never fit the RWB role. While I agree Rodon hasn’t played much, he’s clearly a good CB and prem quality. Also Emerson brings in more money given Rodon’s lack of game time and re uniting with Steve Cooper for a loan at Forest makes perfect sense 👍

Think that’s pretty spot on with how the window will go. It’s gonna be about getting as much money as possible from players who didn’t really feature in the business end of the season. Conte knows who he can rely on currently in the squad. Bring in as much quality as possible this window and squeeze every bit of Conte magic out of him before he leaves in a year or two.

Would love to see one for Chelsea (especially considering the new loan restrictions, players having good seasons on loan and coming back, and the new owners). also, I think there needs to be a section between "Keep" and "Sell". Maybe a "Listed" section, where you would like to keep him (for depth if anything), but if a respectable offer comes in, you look to cash out. could definitely see it in this video for a Skipp, Lucas Moura or even Sessegnon.

I've become torn on Doherty and Emerson. The former is more suited to Conte's system but the latter could prove useful in those big away fixtures where we have less possession. Assuming we sign Spence it could be worth having some tactical flexibility with Emerson as he was excellent at the Etihad and Anfield, though Doherty's resurgence was a genuine catalyst within our season. Tough one.

We need 22 players really. With the 15 above add Kulu and Perisic it’s 17 (minus the 3rd choice keeper for Forster). We need to sign 5 more players at least although I’d keep Emerson.

Good video. The thing with these keep, sell, loan vids is that I never find them realistic. Keep 17 players and either sell or loan 13 players, that's decimating the squad and I struggle to see us bringing in that many players, either if a few are promoted from the youth system. If Spurs can sign a lcb, cb, rwb, cm, cam, winger, cf, then we can let many of these guys go and promote youth players to add numbers.

As a Spurs fan, I agree with a lot of these takes barring a few. Dier was not all that good imo, I think he gets saved a lot from the liked of Romero and Davies, the latter who I think I'd give the most credit to because he's been outstanding. I think Dier is a fine player but definitely a guy you play against the Brightons in the Prem and not the Barcelonas in the CL. I would also look to keeps Winks, I like how he works in this system but if he wants more playing time then obviously he'll go. I really wish Ndombele and Lo Celso fit Contes system because they are really talented players. Bergwijn seems to be on his way out so I'd like to see Gil and Moura get those backup winger spots and sign a backup 9 to give Kane some time off. Those are the main 3 things I'd suggest but otherwise the squad seems pretty set to go.
