When my daughter was little she once asked "why do we need to plant flowers when God gave us all these yellow ones?" Dandelions still make me smile.

She was smart. When we've had the space; we would grow a manicure and leave an area to grow wildly. We would water both and give nutrients to both sides. Each had a unique beauty.

I am 62 and love to watch how you organize! I am done raising my kids and now have time for crafting, drawing etc. I am a portrait pencil and colored pencil artist and can concentrate more on this love of mine. I love your ideas because arts and crafts are definitely a continual challenge to keep organized. So I so enjoy your wonderful videos and sweet personality. Thank you and God richly bless you and your adorable family and keep those videos coming!!!!! :)

How wonderful it is to hear your sage wisdom. We all can use this time to unburden what ever is weighing us down so that we can see the flowers. Isn’t it amazing how a week an change your perspective. My heros are of course all those caring for us in hospitals, first responders but now include the supermarket employees who stock shelves, cashiers, the cook who prepares meals in nursing homes, the mechanic who shows up to work regardless if they get paid, the neighborhood pharmacist the list is endless. I put up lights on my porch to honor all those who are working so hard so that we can go out in the field and see endless flowers

Your boys had a beautiful story. I was homeschooling my 7 and 3yr old nephew and niece last week and took them outside for a break and they also loved picking the dandelions and blowing them. Who I watch on KZbin is YOU, you are my inspiration, to clean, organize and just to have a better outlook on life. Keep the faith, we will survive.

Kathryn I have so many things going on in my life right now but the best thing that happened so far is watching you and this video. It’s not just about cleaning and using fancy products and getting those affiliate links in. No it’s way beyond that. hello everything you said is so real, a week ago everything was different. Although we live in different countries, this change is widespread everywhere (I live in Mexico). Here our government will not help us but we will have to continue working to pay for everything and added to that, taking care of the children at home and sometimes you wonder if everything you do is enough, watching your videos makes me cry, because they literally give me strength to realize that the effort I make is enough as long as I do it with my heart

Thank you for the encouragement. A few years ago, I lost my job to downsizing. It took me over a year to find another position, now I have two part time ones. At the time of my unemployment, I decided to DEEP clean my house, room by room. Got part of it done before I returned to work. Now that we have the Covid19 issue, I'm cleaning the remaining rooms. Each phase is a different room or area (hall closets, entryways, stairways, etc). I did phase one (pantry between kitchen and dining room) over the weekend. Phase two is a main floor bedroom, used as a family room and OVERFLOW! Already have 6 boxes ready to donate (when stores are open again). This is SOOO exciting for me. Thanks again.

Kathyrn, your boys have that sweetness and optimism because of example set by you and Charlie. Sure kids are innocent by nature, but one must nurture that or they lose it all too quickly. Take a bow Mama! You did that! I remember seeing a picture of a dandelion with the sentiment "Some see a weed, some see a wish." Wish, wish, wish boys! You're absolutely darling!

Thank you!! I was in the weedy head space for a while yesterday. Needed this today! A friend reminded many of us that Anne Frank and seven other people spent over 2 years in hiding and had to be quiet the whole time. We're only being asked to do this for a few weeks. It's hard I get it especially for people who don't have income right now. Your videos sure do help! Please keep streaming your sunshine!

Christina Marie - I can relate! We are in Illinois and are under a state wide shelter in place order. I made a list of every area in our home (third-floor closet, guest bedroom, guest bedroom closet, master bath, basement, etc.). I ended up with 18 areas! I am tackling one or two areas a day. We are pretty minimal, but it’s surprising how many things I have found to declutter and the amount of cleaning that still can be done. Even taking down all drapery panels (all light weight, white) and putting them through the wash.

You have no idea how much you have impacted my life. This year has been very hard for my family with a lot of deaths, and just dealing with life in general. I do have a lot to be grateful for (our Dane will be 4 months soon and our new baby girl will be here November 2nd). God sends people to you to help you be better, and I believe that you have really put things in perspective for me. I honestly had to look deep inside and truly understand that the way I run my household is a reflection of me and my family. I control my narrative and I control the emotions I share within my home. Not only do they impact me, but they impact my loved ones as well. You really helped me realize that I can do this 20 minutes at a time, a little at a time, but with Gratitude and LOVE...and the kids can help too! :) Thank you for all you do! And thank you for helping me see the sunshine!

I live alone, but I have family nearby. I think your videos are inspiring! I am cautiously optimistic that we will have turned a corner on this for the better by either late April or May. Right now I am hoping that the three states hardest hit (CA, WA & NY) start having people recovering from the virus and that the warmth of the spring/summer will weaken this virus so we can move on. In the meantime, you have inspired me to try and set up a routine for myself that I can feel good about and get a break from the "Scary" news. This too shall pass, but till then all we can do is work with what is in our control and help our less fortunate neighbors when we can. As Mr. Rogers said, "Look for the helpers".

Did anyone else tear up at the dandelion field story? I needed that, because I have houseguests and a toddler on top of all the COVID-19 stuff, and it's all looking like weeds to me, too. I try every day to be grateful, though. I'm lucky to be getting paid during this hard time, lucky to have my job, lucky that we're all still healthy. When I get frustrated that my toddler won't leave me alone at all so I can get work done, I try to remember how lucky I am that my toddler is healthy and that I still have a paycheck. It's all about perspective. Stay healthy and safe, everyone - the Dime Tribe is good people. ❤️❤️

Keeping up with a 4 & 6 yr old keeps me on my toes!! Like your idea about each morning is a fresh start. Also, like the schedule idea. And the 20 minute spurts. Same field, different perspective. Just beautiful. Kids are great that way in their precious innocent minds!! ❤️

It makes you want just look up & say, "Thank you God for children & their innocent eyes!". Mine are all grown now & have children of their own. But those moments will be with you always. You will remember them when you need them as you grow older. But you will also get new ones from your grand kids, it's amazing how God made sure you could have a steady supply of them. TFS! Have a blessed day.

“We hit the jackpot!” Yes, you did, Carson! Isn’t it awesome how God uses our children to teach us such valuable things? 🤗 Parents all over: “Our children will be at home for weeks! Whatever shall we do??!!” Homeschool parents be like, “Welcome to the jungle!” LOL! 😂 I’m so glad, Kathryn, that you’re taking time to enjoy your family and make special memories with your children! It goes by so fast! We need to enjoy every moment we can! Loved seeing footage of your boys! 🤗 God bless you guys! 🤗 💞 🙏

GF, you have made my year. About 4 months ago I decided to get rid of all social media except for KZbin due to all the negativity and just not uplifting things. Doing this and making sure I am only watching motivational videos and videos that bring wisdom to my life. I am so much happier and less anxious now! Just wanted to say thank you for bringing so many wonderful ideas to all of us. Also, a hobby I have, and a small side business is making soap!!

Wow. The dandelion story is wonderful. And something we need to keep reminding ourselves. There is so much “bad” about this new normal we’re living through, but there’s also some amazing stuff too. Some of those family moments that never happened when we were all heading out in 1000 different direction every day. I choose to see the flowers… That’s what I’m going to keep reminding myself, LOL! THanks for sharing 😁

I love how real you are, i love that you show that it isnt all rainbows and butterflies and I love that you shared that story about the field and how what Carson said changed your perspective on this season of life. This season is hard but there is so much good coming out of it and God is bigger than all of this and he will provide

I love the perspective that you shared about your boys - in the field they saw flowers instead. How true it is of our situation right now. Keep posting your vlogs. Just a suggestion, maybe vlog while playing a piano...a bonus video for the week, perhaps😊. Keep trusting the Lord!

How touching indeed that what our perspective as adults differs so as to childrens perspectives! I had tears hearing u say how ur children were so ecstatic to make bouquets out of the flowers that we adults see as weeds! I may just let mine grow now. Your vids are so awesomely inspiring! Thank you for sharing your tips n tricks !! Keep them coming girl! You Rock 😀👍

Your videos are very inspirational for me, when I hear you talk about some thing that put you in a totally different perspective, it reminds me that it’s not that bad. We tend to get in the moly grubs with everything going on around us, but it’s so true, same field, different perspective…I love that.... thank you, friend!
