Elvis wss my very first concert in 1976 at Notre Dame IN. I was very young, single digits! My sister camped out to get such great seats, floor, row 7 Center! I remember the excitement, the chills that ran down my arms watching Elvis perform! And my mom had me on her shoulders, I was trying to catch his scarves!! The following year he passed away...oh how i remember my mom and sister bawling non stop. RIP Elvis 1977 and my mom 1980.

Elvis did influence a lot of artists and he helped bridged the gap amongst the races through his music and attitude...don't sell him short...but comparing to Jesus, we all fall short. Amazing!!! And I love that he's so himself and used notes because it was a new song. No worry that if he couldn't remember the words he would scrap it...not Elvis!! Not many musicians would do that...then or now.

Record company: Hey king, we got this new smash hit that we think you should record for your next record! Elvis: Great. I'll perform it live at my show tonight! Record company: Wait... shouldn't you at least listen to the tune and practice singing it one time first? Elvis: No.

Elvis Presley was and still is the best ever. Actor, singer and loved his family and friends. The most he loved his Fans. King of Rock N Roll. Yes a God to his fan's. But Elvis himself would tell he is no God. There's only one God and he is the almighty God of Heaven. Love this song. Rip Elvis.

That’s a very true statement. Elvis once said, on stage, to girls that were screaming “Elvis you’re the king”. Elvis replied, “I hear you saying I’m the King, I appreciate it honey, but really Christ is the King...and I’m just an entertainer.” A very humble man.
