Happy Birthday Aimee from Adelaide! Thank you for showing us this lovely area of Japan. We are planning on travelling around Yamagata-ken in April next year. Can’t wait! Take care. Looking forward to your next vlog!

Thank you Kate! This was our first time to Yamagata and we really enjoyed it - so much beautiful nature. If you're coming in April, hopefully the sakura will be blooming!

Thank you, thank you! Ooh how were the snow monsters? We were thinking we should go back in winter to see them! Yeah I wish we could have shown the hike more - you're able to go all the way to Okama crater at the top.

@@RoyandAimee the snow monsters was amazing! you guys should check it out in winter. just prepare some really good layers cause its freaking cold up there.

Haha that sounds like excellent advice! Even being there on a windy day in September we thought damn it must get cold here in winter 😆

Hello aimee happy birthday its a bit late but I just noticed your channel today! I like your content so much ! I want to ask about the total cost for this ryokan stay if it’s okay ?
@RoyandAimee Жыл бұрын
Hello! Thank you for the birthday wishes haha it's coming around again soon so I'll pretend it's for this year! 😆 Thanks so much for watching! The ryokan was ¥28,600 per person which included dinner and breakfast and use of the private onsen. Definitely a bit of a splurge for this weekend haha but from what I can recall, there's also plans without dinner or breakfast or both which are cheaper.

Hi there! So it looks like only the Japanese version of the site has the booking function on it. If you go to the following link on Google Chrome www.tsuruyahotel.co.jp/ you should be able to use Google Chrome's inbuilt "Translate" feature to convert the site from Japanese to English. The booking feature is on the home page in a blue horizontal strip underneath the header bar. I hope you can get a booking and enjoy a wonderful time! 🤗
