Hailey'5 cafe is a manga cafe/net cafe with the concept of "private space for adults”. All rooms are soundproofed private rooms with IC security keys, individual air conditioning, and drink/ice bars.
I stayed overnight at a manga cafe for the first time. If you want to stay cheap in Tokyo, it may be a good option.
👫The total cost of this experience was 6,090 JPY (45.02 USD)
- 12-hour night stay: 2000 JPY (14.79 USD) × 2
- Shower for 30 minutes: 550 JPY ( USD) × 2
- Butter Chicken Curry: 440 JPY (3.25 USD)
- Tahitian Beef Curry: 440 JPY (3.25 USD)
- Large serving of rice: 110 JPY (0.82 USD)
🚃🚶‍♀️How to get to Hailey'5 cafe Ueno Okachimachi
2 minutes walk from Okachimachi station

I feel like if we had something like this in america it could help a lot with the homeless population. Its hard for homeless people to get jobs without basic self care and transportation. Two minute walk from the train station, showers, food, cheap prices. Really wish we had these here.

This place looks so cool to stay at! I love the amount of manga they have there but it sucks that you probably dont have a lot of time to read it all, no matter how long you stay for :,)

Wow honestly this looks really cool! Not only the room can be used for two people but also we can refill drinks and eat ice cream as many as we want for free, not to mention it's cheaper than a capsule hotel.. it really is a good deal :D But, it seems the hotel mentioned doesn't provide English menu/option? Almost everything is only in Japanese (even in directions and how to use things) I think this concept is very cool, unique and interesting for many foreign tourists.. but it seems like everyone who wants to stop by and stay there should understand at least basic Japanese :(

I think I'll also have my Google Translate ready just in case. (Plus it's kinda fun/interesting not knowing the language, and still being able to nagivate through it all.) I would say it would make an interesting memory, like a video game, trying to see how much you can do without asking for help. XD

This was very helpful, I am from America, and I am making travel plans to visit Tokyo, and I was looking for a private room-style place to stay each night, and this idea seems perfect for me. (Because I can have my Alarm on my phone on, and not have to worry about people getting upset because of the noise.) That was one of my concerns of a capsule hotel that didn't allow noise from phone, and tv. (Thank you for showing me this, I'll be in Tokyo for about 14 days in May of 2023, and this Internet Cafe seems like a good idea for me. My only concern is, I must practice my Japanese to respect the culture when I bump into people in the hall way, and for me to be more polite to get a good example for America in a way, not all American's are loud.)

I'm planing to stay at this exact net cafe when i go to japan, do they allow foreigners to book online (or on site)? Is there a luggage space to store big luggages? Also do they allow people to leave the cafe? Cause I plan to leave my luggage and wonder around a bit outside.

Me, laughing about the german liqueur "Kleiner Feigling" -> "Little Coward" I think most german prefer other brands, but there was a time many people drank it. I really like the concept of Net Cafes, sadly the german equivalent is totally different and our Cafes don't have mange, as it is seen as something young people especially kids and teenagers read and watch :(
