The staff may not speak much English, but I've seen them using translation apps to communicate with foreign guests👀 There were quite a few foreign guests when I visited, so you should be fine if you dont speak Japanese. How early are reservations open for the ryokans? Every time I look, they are fully booked :(

Well that's surprising. A comment section where no jealous hizpaneks are degrading Japanese people and culture every second of the day 🙄I guess one second of "their" culture not gaining positive attention makes them mad or something?

Well that's surprising. A comment section where a jealous mexcan doesn't degrade Japanese people or culture. I guess seeing Japan in a positive light makes them mad or something? If that isn't a sick level of entitlement, then I don't know what is.

I worked in Japan off and on for 10 years and was fortunate to stay in Ryokan on a few occasions. To me, they epitomise the culture and beauty of that wonderful country and its people.

Yea that definitely true, one of my friend's visited Japan recently and he said what stuck out to him most was how unusually clean everything was. Sidewalks and roads in the middle of a dense urban city are so clean it's almost uncanny.
