Thank you, Andrea, for this excellent explanation! So very helpful! I made your Oxbow this past winter and loved how nicely the stitch pattern guided me. But I'm glad to have your tutorial for future projects! Appreciate your thoroughness in everything you offer us!

Thank you, Andrea! I had the worst time trying to stay in pattern on the Oxbow sleeves! It wasn’t the pattern it was my brain just not thinking it through. This is so helpful…thanks for posting!

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I’m reading through the DRK Everyday socks, and I just couldn’t wrap my mind around how I was going to stay in pattern working the heel as a k2p2. Easier than this repeat, but still I couldn’t plan it out in my mind. I think my trouble is that I always increase or decrease not on the first stitch, but on the second. But I make several pair of socks for each pattern I try, so I’m sure if I mess up the first, I’ll be spot on by the third!

This was a great explanation, thank you!! Would you mind providing a visual for how this works with increasing, as well? Like in the yoke of a sweater?

Thanks Erica! Increasing in the yoke of the sweater would be a bit of a different story as it would all depend on how many increases are in a round (IE round yoke shaping vs raglan shaping) and staying in pattern for that!
