Almost finished my sweater. The knit, slip rows are so restful to knit. I’m loving the project.

So great to see this video (thanks!) which confirms my previous suspicion that it is only slipped sts with no stranded knitting which is one of the attributes listed in Ravelry. I really should learn continental knitting too......

When I’m knitting in the round I leave the “floats” on the back extra long so I don’t have to cut them. Then I block the gauge swatch face down. It sounds a little counterintuitive, but I do that for pricier yarns or if I think I’ll be short on yards.

Absolutely - I have done that too!

So, I really am enjoying this pattern. It is a relaxing knit. My only issue is the chart colors chosen would have been helpful for me if they were lighter. the slip indicator boxes are difficult to see. But as always, another lovely pattern from Andrea! Thanks.

Hi, I’ve been trying to make this pattern, but I’m not very experience with charts, in fact this will be my first one. So what happens with the other color C2,? Do I have to leave those long yarns at the back? Or do i have to cut it at the end, if so could you please show how? So how will it look on the back? Can you put a photo? the video helps but this is the first time that I see an actual one working on the pattern. Thank you.

Hi Sandra - the long strands are only there for the swatch (if you choose this method for swatching.) For specific questions regarding the pattern you can email the address on the last page of the pattern!
