About the Holderness Family
The Holderness Family creates original music, parodies, and Vlogs for KZbin to poke fun of themselves and celebrate the absurdity in circumstances most families face in their day to day life. They published "Christmas Jammies" in December 2013 and life hasn't been the same. Since then, their popular parodies, "All About That Baste", "Baby Got Class," and original music "Snow Day" have received national news coverage. Penn, the Dad, took a chance and left his job as a news anchor to join his wife Kim, the Mom, at their video production and digital marketing company, Greenroom Communications, LLC. Lola and Penn Charles are always happy, respectful and eat all of their vegetables (that last sentence is a lie). Penn, Kim, Lola, and Penn Charles publish music videos, Vlogs and special KZbin challenges to this channel every weekday. Our viewers have become our family and we try our best to respond to comments, suggestions and special requests! Subscribe to be part of this crazy family! Thanks for being here.

😂😂😂 @ Penn leaving the drawer open, saying "there's nothing else he can do at that point" and Kim standing with arms outstretched infront of the open garage door! Y'all are nuts. I'll setup a close-a-thon in Florida to raise awareness. My wife doesn't like to close containers. I think she just wants all things to be free...to spill.

When I was about eight, my mother decided to refinish the cabinets in the kitchen. She took all the doors off, and... Well, when I left home, age 21, the cabinet doors were still outside in the shed, waiting to be stripped. So I grew up in a house with no cabinet doors. As a result, I NEVER think to close . . . IT'S NOT MY FAULT, DAMMIT! IT'S NOT MY FAULT!

I am glad to know we do not have to suffer alone. This is something so many wife's feel uncomfortable talking about. You are so brave to start this discussion. My husband has this and LOL....leaving on lights, syndrome. I feel my days are spent turning off every light in the house over and over again. And what is worse, is I believe this condition has been passed down to our 5 year old son :'-( I am holding out hope he is still young enough we can find a cure!!! Good luck to you and yours.

I love how clever your parodies are and how truthful all your ADHD content is. My husband and son are off the scale with ADHD and watching your videos, I have cried because I laughed so hard! STD & ADHD are definitely related!!! I have pictures from Christmas with bruises to prove the STD problem. My husband took vacation from work at Christmas and went to bed later than me. He left the bedroom closet door partway open. I didn't want to wake him when I had to get up in the morning, so I rummaged around in the dark and ran right into the door. I had a big ugly bruise on my forehead in all our Christmas pictures. I'd like to say that solved it but .... NOPE! Still married 20+ years -without too many scars! Keep the fun content coming.

But the dishwasher is empty and dinner has been made and eaten! I feel your pain or just feel my pain in my knees or the top of my head!! LOL!!!! Make a video about who shuts off the lights! I am always getting in trouble for not doing that! Even if I go out to the garage to get a tool to finish some project she wants done, by the time I get back, a few minutes, all the lights I need are off!! LOL!!!! I know this is years old, but this intersects with one of my other favorite KZbinrs, Clutterbug. In her system she has a group of organizing personalities called Butterflies who need to SEE the things they own, so she recommends removing the doors from cabinets and putting their belongings in clear or well labeled containers. Of course this drives other organizing personalities who like everything to be sparse and hidden away crazy, but it does solve leaving all the cabinet doors open if there are no cabinet doors *lol*

After my mom had a brain procedure she had this STD. She would leave the door open on the microwave for hours. I would close it after work. She also left the top off the peanut butter. She had a CNA that was with her for 2 hours in the afternoon. I guess that stood for Chairs Need A****.

Sadly, this is very contagious, my husband and my children have it!! I think it may have jumped species also, as my cats open the doors and never shut them!!! I..am...surrounded!!! I actually call it the Vanna White syndrome in my house!😳. Sadly, I never get a pretty dress and they never solve any puzzles winning them a vacation, or money!
