OH MY GOSH. I have been a Lana fan for 11 years and I have been a Brett Cooper fan for as long as she has been doing the show. Now my favorite youtuber is covering my favorite artist! So being a Lana SUPERFAN for over a decade. I can definitely give you some insight into the Fandom right now. I've been a part of multiple fan group chats etc and I'm definitely a part of that community. I would say we're definitely divided on this one. There are those of us that are just so happy for her and don't care about anything else but yes there are many fans right now upset that she's married to a conservative *gasp* man!!! As a long time Lana fan who has always admired her as a beautiful PERSON and not just an asthetic ornament, I can tell you I wasn't surprised in the least. I was just happy that she finally found someone she wanted to spend her life with. She's wanted to be a bride and wife for so long and now her dream has finally come true. To those that are surprised that she married someone who leads a "simple life", I'm confused why honestly. She prefers the simpler things now. She has told us several times through her music and through the way she's living that she is down to earth and genuine. "The simple life I chose this" is literally a line in one of her songs from Blue Banisters. I really don't understand the double standard though. As conservatives we enjoys art that is made by people of all different political and religious beliefs. I don't turn my nose up when an artist I like marries a Democrat so why is it such a big deal when the reverse happens. I will always have more to say about Lana and I'm making sure to comment positive things about her and her new marriage everywhere so that she will see more positive comments!
