Ste might follow Stuart's orders because he doesn't want to go to prison. Sami was close to making Ste have a break through, but Ste is too far gone. Either way, Ste is going to face life imprisonment. The far right group has dirt on him and can easily blackmailing since they filmed him beating up/ killing Jed.

EL he didn’t kill Jed, he beat him to within an inch of his life as a warning to keep his mouth shut! Ste asked them in the next episode and Stuart said they left him outside a hospital. If Jed had gone missing then his police handler would have reported him missing and they would have raid the house as they knew that’s the last place he was. I’ve got a feeling that Jed is the one who’s still helped them bring the group down and he’ll show up at court. I also think Sami is gonna help Ste by teaming up with James and becoming his legal team. Ste’s not gonna get life because as others have said he’s renewed his contract. I do think he’ll end up in jail for a time as the actor took some time off the show not long ago to spend with his family. The only way they can explain his absence is either he’s locked up in jail or he goes on the run. Well if you’ve watched the new trailer we see he gets arrested so I’m going with him ending up in jail to explain his absence from the show for a few weeks. XoX

I think that doctors swear under Hippocratic oath to help those wounded even though they might be bad people. Misbah initially hesitated, but she saw Johnny was bleeding from an artery so she helped stopped him from bleeding out. But Misbah has a big heart as well.

It would be the classic setup - they hate each other, and hate can turn to passion very quickly. I think a better way to have solved it, would have been to have had Johnny being an undercover officer, whose real name was Gavin (the name of the gym membership Ste came across in Johnny`s wallet last year). That way Johnny/Gavin could have testified to the fact Ste was both groomed and framed, and even an opportunity for the excellent Ray Quinn to continue in Hollyoaks, since Gavin after the trial could be promoted to a detective position with the Dee Valley police, and continue to live in Hollyoaks village. Either returning with a full family, girlfriend/wife or boyfriend/husband (explaining why he both made the ridiculous claim of being Ste`s brother, cause he felt he had to cover up his unusual interest and affection for Ste, so he could continue in his undercover role as Johnny), or gradually trying to get back in the good books of either Ste (if he was gay) or Leela, Peri or someone (if he was straight).

It isn`t only me, is it, who find it kind of curious that while his sister is being sent away, in an ambulance, with head trauma after an explosion, Sami - instead of alerting his brother and fiance, and get himself and them to the hospital too - he engages Ste? A little bit prematurely for that type of talk and confrontation, in my opinion. Maybe a few episodes from now, but not while Yasmine is being transported to hospital this way. Also, where was the police? To keeping the gang under surveillance they were doing a rotten job! In real life they would have been the first on the scene, and after those officers had alerted their superiors, both Stuart and the rest of the group would also have been placed under arrest and questioned (the police would want to find out as soon as possible if there could be more devices than the one that caused the explosion - cause being on the group`s trail, their working hypothesis would have been the explosion not to have been an ordinary accident, like a gas leak. They would have suspected a bomb from they heard the bang).

I am just claiming it to be unlikely an older brother would be more concerned about confronting Ste, than to alert his siblings and fiance about what had happened, and together with them rushed to the hospital to be with their mother. No son leaves his mother alone when she is fearing for the life of a child, cause in such a situation it eases things for her to have her entire family there, so she at least doesn`t have to wonder if they are okay on top of everything, and so they all can comfort and support each other. And factoring in Yasmine had head injuries, it could be the last chance Sami ever had of seeing her alive, or as she was prior to getting brain damaged. Sami is a defense attorney, and therefore should know how potentially dangerous or life changing a head injury could turn out to be. So I tell you, had Sami been a real person, he would have gone to that hospital as fast as he could. He would not have wasted time confronting Ste. Particularly since he as a lawyer would have known that he by talking to Ste before anybody else, could seriously undermine the case against Ste and the group, should they - as Sami clearly believed without questioning it - be responsible for the explosion.
