What about what poor Kyle has been through? Not enough he is being inflicted with this disease which has near lost him the loss of his legs, and which will result in his early death, should he not be able to afford treatment, and the treatment work. He also have been jailed after being framed by his own boyfriend, become homeless and lastly taking advantage of and forced into masquerading as dead, to frame the man he has fallen in love with. I feel more sorry for him, than for James. At least James - even if he should be innocent of what Sami believes him guilty of - have done plenty already he had deserved to go to jail for. Just take your pick! There has been corruption of justice and tampering with evidence trying to frame Ste for Amy`s murder. Extortion of a police officer, when he threatened to name Ryan as the guilty one of that, should Ryan report James for it. Serious fraud, acting for his own mother while pretending to be Tony`s legal adviser. Threats and extortion, forcing Harry to persuade his father to sell his business to Marnie - if not Ste would learn of a certain £ 10 000 night James and Harry spent together. The list is near endless, since almost anything "super lawyer" James does more breaks the law, than apply it skillfully.

I find it quite unfair for Ste to demand such an agreement with Harry... Since James was literally the only one who wanted to proof Harry's innocence while he was in jail (went even on countless prison visits for Harry). and above all, while James was helping Harry out was Ste hooking up with the actual murder... So he has absolutely no say in this! Especially since Harry and James aren't fooling around either.. Just friends helping each other out. Don't get me wrong, Ste is one of my fave characters but lately his immature ways of handling situations are touching a nerve

He is a grown man. He doesn't need Harry. Ste shouldn't be put inder the situation he currently at, worrying mindlessly, because Harry is lying, AGAIN, about being with James. James and harry slept together. And James has come between them many times in the past in the most despicable ways. Ste is the only one keeping this relationship afloat. Tony Abreu Agree with everything you said above - apart from the part that Ste is the one keeping Starry afloat. That has mostly been Harry. He even followed Ste to live on the streets, supported him in the custody case for Ste`s kids - despite not even being asked if becoming a stepdad was something he was prepared for. All in all Harry has done most of the sacrifices of the two. Risked anything from his education to his relationship with his father, just so he could be with Ste. Personally I am a little worried his motivation for doing so isn`t love alone, but guilt. Guilt because had it not been for him successfully chasing Ste, Ste would not have lost contact with his youngest child whose mother, Sinead, Ste was living with at the time Harry had his eyes set on Ste - so in return Harry feels obligated to make Ste happy, to compensate in some way for having lost Ste contact with his youngest child. As a consequence there is an unbalance in the Starry relationship, where Harry goes out of his way to please Ste, while Ste takes Harry for granted - or pushes him away, making Harry strive even harder to win Ste`s favor again.

I hope they give Ste a more likeable storyline soon. Making fun of Kim, then being controlling of who Harry spends time with again, constantly shoving him or pushing his phone into his chest all aggressively... no thanks. And I hope James will find some sort of happiness soon. I get why Harry did what he did, eventhough I don't like it and he clearly knows it's the wrong thing to do as well. Maybe this will be some nice character growth for him eventually though when he breaks free off Ste a bit more.

That is a somewhat negative, and not the least selfish, way of thinking on James` part, should he agree with you. Harry is placing his boyfriend`s needs and wishes first. James should both understand and respect that. Unlike James, Harry isn`t a lawyer, legally obligated to help his client, which is what happened when he helped Harry escape prostitution charges last week.

Roy Flores If we are to go into what would have happened had this been real life, James couldn`t have acted as Harry`s lawyer at all, because he has been charged with pimping him. And talking about which of them who had been in prison, had this been real life - that would have been James. The list of charges is too long to include in full, but just to mention a few of the more serious charges: 1) Framing his own client (Ste) for a murder he hadn`t committed by 2) falsifying evidence by planting Ste`s blood on trainers linked to Amy`s death. 3) Serious fraud, by first illegally extort Ste`s half of the restaurant him and Tony owned together with bogus claims, and after that make sure James` own mother could take over the same restaurant, by James working to help her while pretending to be helping Tony, his client. 4) Extortion, criminal conspiracy - the list goes on and on. In real life James not only would have been jailed, he had lost his job and had his license to practice law permanently revoked. And that before we even have started on the list of ethical breaches which are not crimes in themselves, but conduct unbecoming, and for that reason also would have put James` license to practice law in grave danger. On that list would have been soliciting the son of a client for a sexual favors, working with a police officer working to convict his client and more still.

Tsunade Sama You don`t get someone who is innocent off. They are not got guilty - and therefore is found not guilty. The fact of the matter is, had James done his job properly, Ste would never have been held on remand in the first place. Every single piece of information about how Amy died, included in Ste`s confession, was provided orally or in crime scene photos by D.S. Armstrong during Ste`s interview. Had James pointed out as much, mentioned as much on the tape, for the prosecutor on the case to hear when listening to the recording after James had spoken out about Ste`s confession not being sound, Ste would never have been charged and held on remand. And who knows, Ryan might have been identified as Amy`s kiler much sooner as a consequence, and both Tegan and Kim would not have been harmed, and Ryan`s uncle Geoff still would have been alive. James didn`t help Ste one tiny little bit in that case. James was a crook - not a hero.

Tsunada Sama People who are innocent, are innocent. You cant get somebody off a charge they are not guilty of, cause they should not have been charged in the first place. And that is exactly what was the case with Ste`s confession. Since Ste didn`t remember anything of the night in question, was tricked into believing he was guilty by D.S. Armstrong, and all the relevant information to how Amy died didn`t come from Ste, but from crime scenes photos Ste was shown, and what Armstrong told him, technically Ste hasn`t given a confession which has come from him. But just accepted whatever Armstrong told him as the truth. That makes the confession unsound, and had James pointed out as much to Armstrong during the interview, those objections would have been recorded when James complained to the CPS the confession was unsound, so the prosecutor on the case would have heard it when listening to the recording - and Ste would neither have been charged nor held on remand (jailed on suspicion alone) at that time. Which again means James didn`t do his job as he was supposed to, or he lacked the competence required for the job. Making James either a crook or a shitty lawyer, depending of which of the two explanations which were most accurate.
