After many requests this week. I tested FROZEN steak VS FRESH steak! Which one is best grilled? For this experiment I used PRIME New York Strips and I cooked the frozen steak traditional and the fresh steak I used the reversed seared method. This steak experiment was requested by many of my subscribers and I did this test for you guys.
HOW TO COOK A FROZEN STEAK
- 1. Sear the the frozen steak
- 2. Cook it slow @ (250°F / 120°C) until you reach core temp of (135°F / 57°C)
- 3. Rest for 5-8 minutes and enjoy.
HOW TO COOK A REVERSE SEAR STEAK
- 1. Cook it slow @ (250°F / 120°C) until you reach core temp of (115°F / 46°C)
- 2. Sear steak, when searing is happening steak will reach its final temp of (135°F / 57°C)
- 3. Rest for 5-8 minutes and enjoy.
