In this Video; I'll show you how to make Steakhouse Creamed Corn with a modern twist, updating this classic side dish with bright and bold fresh flavors.
INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:

4 slices thick bacon - sliced crosswise
3 - 4 green onions - sliced, whites (1/4 cup) and greens (1/4 cup) - divided
1 onion - diced (1 cup)
2 Serrano peppers - 1 diced, 1 sliced (for garnish, optional)
kosher salt / fresh finely ground black pepper
2 pounds frozen whole kernel corn or fresh corn off the cob
3/4 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1/3 cup mascarpone (Italian cream cheese)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup grated parmigiano reggiano

Wow props, I did not hear " if you want to be fancy" but I'm busy, I might have missed it . Lil sour cream lil cream cheese. But first deglazing with .. white wine an bone broth are just the basics .. The fancy would be the corn au jus or cheat an roast corn add veg broth an use a burr mixer or hand wand or submersible hand mixer lol.. extreme tastes like sweet, spicy and salty sauce to pour over the corn dish or any other complimenting vegetable .. none the less, good job. I hope you keep making veg taste great recipes 😮

I watch this show called Good Eats with Alton Brown He says the cream from creamed corn is from natural starch form each corn kernel ... it starts by removing the corn from the husk by slicing thru each kernel exposing the endosperm this releases the liquid starch from the corn .... no cream no cheese
