1. Positive self talk. Journal about all the things that empower you. 2. Get rid of toxic people - surround yourself with positive uplifting or quiet people. 3. Surround yourself with people who are helpful to you; helping you to feel good or be better. Get rid of things that make you feel bad. 4. Run your own race. Be authentically yourself and never compare yourself. Be one per cent better.

I like your energy and content. Just discovered your channel today. Entering a pageant for over age 50 in Korea and clueless about the whole process. Never entered a pageant or modeled before. Are pageants around the world (Korea actually) essentially the same? Thank you for sharing your experience.

No, pageants around the world can be quite different. For example in South Korea I believe contestants typically have whiter, paler skin. In the states a healthy tan is usually encouraged. I think it’s wonderful that you are entering a pageant and if you can secure a video of a previous year’s competition, that will give you a sense of what to expect!
