It also shows in canines, specifically wolves! when the mated pair("alphas", though that is an innacurate term. Never use that pls) gives their yearlings(one year olds that are old enough to start learning how to be a wolf) parenting experience before they disperse to find their own mates by leaving them with the current season's litter of pups while they hunt for their pack. A lot of social animals have some sort of communal daycare thing going on, actually. African wild dogs, hyenas, wolves, lions and elephants are only a few of many off the top of my head. EDIT CAUSE I THOUGHT MORE ABOUT WOLVES AND I REALLY LIKE WOLVES SO ILL DUMP THIS HERE: The wolf thing i mentioned earlier, i should have said, includes both male and female yearlings. Though males sometimes are quicker to disperse than females on average, it is not a norm or even expected of the pups until after 2 years, some even never leave their birth pack as well and serve their pack as subordinate wolves, they usually hunt alongside the mated pair or are left at the den to serve as a lookout for predators and rival wolf packs. The message here is that sometimes in life people tell you how you should be and its just a box that will never fit for you. Be who you need to be for your sake. You don't have to get married or have a family or even move out of the house to be happy.

A quick google search or an actual book would have told the humans that cats will help one another out often when it comes to having babies at the same time; but the two women don't look like they know any words above 3 or 4 letters long so it's really no surprise that they wouldn't get it. I found them beyond ignorant at this. It's like - if the orange cat is moving the kittens, there is a reason. Stop moving them back to 'help' causes both mamas stress. Ignorance annoys me and the two were the epitome of it.

@@handles_are_dumb_01 Yes the behavior stays quite similar over all the whole feline line. There are big differences in some areas but overall behavior the same. And when forced together in zoo's naturally lonner cats normally get along well. Based on seeing Mother cat with my family when I was small have all of two litters one day unable to stand each other and scater to various places in the house I believe most of the scattering happens then in cats. Late 60's early 70's not recent we know better now. But some big cats break pattern and stay together as pairs in some cases even for the loner variety.
