I think one of the best choices for this scene was just how many scenes there were of Talon 1 and EDI out-pacing the camera. Really helps get across its speed subconsciously if even the camera can't keep up with them.

I really thought this movie got a really bad rep for no reason. I quite enjoyed it. Guess you really have to be into aviation/military to enjoy it.

I get that they fly low to avoid radar but if someone calls the government because a plane just tore of their houses roof that's not very stealthy either.

modern stealth is based around radar not visual so you see a plane its lost its stealth

That plane is flying at mach 5 in that scene, it is 1.5km/s, no way that you can see it

They probably thought it was a tornado....at hypersonic speeds these planes have been shown to fly, they wouldn't see it. We saw it only for movie visual effects....

Speed isn't a factor only acceleration/pulling G's would be - could have a sealed cockpit with a high oxy content anyway?, lack of a g suit at low level ,& pulling G would be more critical

Passengers on Concorde flew Mach 2 without the need of masks and suits. Anyways I'm sure EDI has a pressurized cockpit like many fighters and even if he didn't he was well below 10,000 feet.
