Stealth Camping on Private Lake - Don't Get Caught!

We take on the wild camping challenge of setting up camp on a private lake in the Northwest UK. We slip into the area late on, about 8pm and leave before the Lake starts to get busy, we are mindful of avoiding detection by the Lake's Outward Bound team.
We find unexpected discoveries, like stumbling upon an abandoned axe along a game trail, reminding us that poachers frequent these shores. Braving the winter chill, we find ourselves right at the waters edge, where we set up camp, immersing ourselves in the tranquil beauty of the landscape.
In a true test of practicality, we compare the tried-and-tested French Army F2 tent with the newcomer, Naturehike Cloud Peak 2, as Leon experiences the latter for the first time. Join us as we share the genuine highs and challenges of our stealth camping adventure, capturing the essence of a cheeky local wild camp.

Even though I left UK 18 years ago to come here with my work, I still find it pretty warm....and bloody cold when I come back to the UK🤣. Haven"'t been back since 2015. Happily retired here now and enjoying my local trips out in my 'me' time. Take care buddy

@#antsurvivethenight I have the bobcat and the cloud peak in my collection ,,, I would take the bobcat up a mountain in a storm ( and have done ), but not the cloudpeak.. I think thats the best way of defining the difference between them... take care of yourself

Maybe if the cloud peak had stronger poles I'd try it but that would just be writing off a tent for no good reason as we know the outcome. The Bobcat on the other hand continues to surprise me. I did think that maybe the poles did the door,,, though the more I thought about it the more I realised it couldn't be..the poles were exactly the same length , so no extra tightness... I have seen my friends door go in the strong winds olso and he didn't have different poles....
