Totally agree. Also, the customer service at Black Arch is terrific and they are always appreciative of your order. StealthGear, on the other hand, was always way behind the curve of holsters for newer firearms and they always acted as though I was lucky that they would sell something to me. Unless there are some drastic changes at Black Arch, they will remain my go-to place for holsters.

Nothing changed. SG customer support is severely lacking. Probably the biggest complaint about them as well as their very long lead times. Black Arch though is damn near perfect with customer support.

@@rickybobby612 Yup. I actually recently switched from the Black Arch holster to a different one of almost identical design. Only reason I switched is I wanted an Olight PL Mini on my P365. So I am using that holster setup right now. Hopefully they get a good light setup and expand their firearms compatibility.

@@ArmatisReviews The biggest turn off you showed me was the knuckle busting. I hate that! Can't you adjust the clip out of the way? Perhaps you can even take that clip completely off and then just use the one in the middle.

@@KuyaPow626 Honestly I'd have to find the holster and try to look at it to confirm, but if I recall correctly if you adjusted the clip, it put the gun in a weird cant angle or something. It's been a long time since I've messed with that. But that issue, on top of my other complaints, I just decided to go with the Black Arch since it worked so well for me. Black Arch is still a great holster, but McKinatec is now my preferred holster. It has a lot more options for lights and stuff. Really like their holsters right now. In fact I just got a second holster for my new EDC.

@@ArmatisReviews Very nice... McKinatec is a brand I haven't even heard of. I have so many holster brands on my tab of "I want to try this out next" but right now my favorites have been Pyntek for his support of unique laser guard attachments and TXC Holsters, Vedder, Havok, and BlackArch.

Not only do I think Black Arch is a better product, but the customer service at Black Arch is fantastic.....and I gave up on Stealthgear when they were both dismissive and outright un-customer friendly the 2 times I wrote them with reasonable questions about availability.

I have a lot of time for Black Arch. I bought one of their holsters for my Glock 19. Within a couple of weeks I had replaced it with a Walther PPQ, not being made of money I got in touch with Black Arch and asked how much extra I would have to pay to change the G19 holster for a PPQ one. Within a day they got back in touch with me and asked if I could return the holster so they could check its condition and then they would make an offer. This I duly did. A day after they got it they were back in touch to say my holster was like new and they would replace it free of charge! To me it showed not only had they integrity but I already knew they had the expertise! I have an Entrada on order for my Sig Sauer P365x.

Good review. My own experience is that Black Arch are not only great holsters, but terrific customer service. Stealthgear, on the other hand, has over the past couple years acted as though you were lucky to have them allow you to buy their products...and they seem to always be the last company to add holsters for popular guns, and still don't have options for a number of very popular firearms. I'm certain they will have some excuse.

I agree. SG has bad customer service. Very comfortable holster but it has the worst retention. I would never buy their product again

I have no affiliation with them, but my current EDC holster is a McKinatec Kina Flex Rig and I love it. I just ordered a second one for my Arex Delta M. Just waiting for it to arrive. My black Arch holsters is still great. Bravo Concealment makes some good ones too.

The reason your SG printed is they don’t put a claw or mod wing to help push the grip into you.

I never had a claw till I bought a used Hellcat and the guy gave me a holster with one for appendix carry. As soon as I put it on I thought wow this actually works. I can even used the longer mag with no real issues. I may order me one of these black arch holsters since it has a mag carrier too.

Stealth gear is comfortable but has zero retention and tightening the retention does not work. If you were to get into a physical altercation, your gun will come off the holster with minimal movement

Yeah. Quite the bummer. I wanted to love it. Oh well. I am rocking a McKinatec holster now with a sidecar. I like it because they make holsters for a Sig P365 with a rail adapter so I can run a flashlight on it. It's been great so far.

I was going to buy a black arch but after reviewing there return policy I decided not to. I don’t like being charged restocking fee if I return their holster. None of the other major holster manufacturers do this. I had a stealth gear and they are fine holsters.

This is my 3rd Black Arch Holster. The first I ordered for my gen 3 Glock 19 which I had for about 2 weeks after I got the holster by then I had succumbed and changed to a Walther PPQ. WITH TREPIDATION i broke the news to Black Arch to my surprise after they saw my holster was in good condition they returned to me free of charge a holster for the PPQ. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE when I got my p365 i ordered from them an Entrada for it. Have not worn anything else since though I do find it fiddly fitting it to the Black Arch belt I bought, but well worth the effort!
