Steam and Diesel Locomotives from VSM at Hilversum (2024-06-08)

2024 marks the 150th anniversary of the Oosterspoorweg connecting Amsterdam, Hilversum, Amersfoort, and Zutphen. A branch from Hilversum to Utrecht was later also opened. There are many events to celebrate the occasion organised by Prorail, the local municipalities, NS, and others. One of which is the "Oosterspoorweg Express". This train runs with steam locomotive 23 076 and diesel locomotives 2530 and 2459, traveling between Baarn, Hilversum, Amersfoort, and Utrecht Maliebaan.
The train was filmed on its first run of the day as it arrived in Hilversum from Amersfoort and reversed to Baarn at 08:00.
