So i was doing a bunch of updates and you don't have to do them 1 by 1 you can hold cntrl click a bunch and they will all go. this can speed the process up dramatically.

Is there anyway to get yuzu running without having a hacked switch? My Switch is newer, which would require a modchip to homebrew it. I was hoping there'd be a way to bypass this to run Yuzu without a hacked switch

You can get bios and keys files from specific online sources. Do not type darthsernite into your search browser if you do not want to find firmware

Do we have to wait for newer product keys for other games to work? Can you delete the updates from the steam deck once they install into yuzu? They show up in my game mode folder and creates too much clutter.

Unfortunately not. You need to dump the games on your Switch.

You can connect a key board to your deck press cntrl and u and this will unlock the fps and it will run pretty good

I don't want many switch ganes; I want Breath of the Wild, Pokemon Legends Arceus, Mario Bros U Deluxe, and Luigi's Mansion 3. And I want my own gaming laptop so maybe I can just get the steam deck and download the games I want that are own by Nintendo. This'll be perfect since I want to play mostly AAA games. I'm gonna check a list of games that play on steam deck.

I was watching interview with Valve developer, who mentioned that main reason why they made steam deck in the first place, is because Nintento was untouched by competition, so they decided to make best hardware for P*racy of Nintendo games. Which is kind of INSANE coming from western company xD

Question for you; I installed Yuzu on it's own and it works. But the issue I'm having is that I want it to run off the SD card that I use to download my and Save my Steam games since I have ample storage. However, Yuzu isn't reading that SD card and it seems that I have to had a dedicated SD just for the Switch emulation. Any ideas to work around that? Or to just remove that install go and with emudeck?

Due to computer/switch needing to format the sd card every time you switch it back and forth because your going from Linux to Windows. You would need another SD card.

Well, the prod.keys and title.keys are essentially bios.

@@Techcravers nah, those keys are for decrypting contents of the .nsp files :D The emulators have their own "bios" to make the games think they are running on actual hardware.

sorry to ask on an older video but i followed what you said and im still getting that same warning popping up when i open yuzu its also showing missing firmware when i check bios on emudeck in the tools menu any thing obvious that could be messed up? I haven't put any games at all on there yet im really only wanting to get this to work for one specific game i still get files for but i wanted to make sure i could get the emulator working. Im a noob when it comes to this stuff but i did get a ps2 game working so i think i could do it idk its frustrating lol

He goes through what to do once you have the keys. You need to own a switch and the games you intend to emulate to get the actual keys. That or find someone willing to share theirs, which is risky. Here's why: People don't want to get sued by nintendo.
