You're original steam deck video talked me into buying one. I upgraded to oled last week. As a dad working a 3rd shift full time job, running my own small buisiness and watching my daughter's during the day this is the only way I have time to game. The added battery alone is worth it to me.

Keep in mind there’s a buzzing audio issue thru the headphone jack. I wish someone would’ve told me that before buying. Also, you have no volume control with your headphones. I heard this problem isn’t present with LCD so I would stick to it bcuz of the audio issue.

when thinking that there's no actual performance boost , there is simply no reason for me to upgrade. The upgrades that it offers I can live without for the time being. I'd rather save my money and wait for steam deck 2 which will be in less than 2 years time for sure.

Yeah i got a 512 oled, O pwn the 512 :CD and nto sure what I will dop with that one if shoudl try to sell it but so many are doing that or should keep it and sue as dock version. Right now seeing if should upgrade to a 1TB but trying to fidn video on how to it right and how to transfer the files to add the steam files on the new ssd. Maybe I should gone with the 1TB version but was nto sure if it was wise or if the screen mattered. Good Video and enjoyed it

The 1tb limited edition is having so many issues with dead pixels, worse speaker sound, sticky buttons and faulty trackpads. Just stick with the glossy, it has better image quality!

Yeah i was thinking that too, I already started ordering my stuff in case i upgrade it, just bought ym screen protector, my case which was cheap which come with stand and got the device to trasnfer the files when i pick which ssd to get and waiting on my keyboard to make ti easier to handle it. I just got cyberpunk and Horizon before sale ended. as for Sd carsds have 2 512 oen for now but wondering what to do with ym :CD oen now @@itsdtxjd

Ummm no thank you, i get it for people who have had the steam deck a year and want to update, but i feel like this OLED is only significant if you dont plan to use a Battery Bank or are crazy about fps and Hz. Thats all, but it is my own opinion.

It has a bigger battery, and its more power efficient, itsquite a big upgrade, and to need a battery bank makes no sense.

Better cooling and less fan noise , which stop me buying the old deck after borrow on from friend The oled version have friendly fan noise compare to the old one , possible due to thicker fan and bigger fin stack heatsink

I got over 30 improvement from the older version the crazy part it not being advertised for that. They just advertised the oiled screen. They are underselling this device other tech company would oversell them like crappy apple brands

It's a 7/10 but the OLED is a 9.5/10 perfect screen size and beautiful bezels and nicer sticks and +5fps more frame rate

You do know that videos have editing right? You can clearly see edits throughout and cuts. I recorded for over an hour and cut it down to the final product.
