Footage from days 7 and 8 of The Great Britain XVI (16) multi-day tour, 19 and 20 April 2024:
- 44871 & 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier working from Edinburgh to Carlisle, seen at Crawford in the Upper Clyde Valley working to Beattock Summit and leaving Lockerbie after a water stop. Having handed over the reins at Carlisle, the pair are seen in the Lune Gorge, around 15 minutes before 34067 Tangmere, now hauling the tour itself. The Bulleid is then seen at Scorton between Lancaster and Preston.
- At 6:15 the following morning, the Black Fives are seen working the ECS to Preston at Brock, where 44871 left the train to work light engine to Chester as the consist would have been too long for Liverpool Lime Street. Shortly after, 45407 sets off for Liverpool, from where that day’s leg of the tour would be worked to Swansea.
