@@iamaioshi As the road ends, I go back to the kingdom relieved To meet my beloved princess peach If the person who watched me is pleased Then my trip to this world was a success for me -Calm Mario ●About KZbin's morality (somewhere around 1:20 ) First of all, I am sad to say that there is not so much morality on KZbin. Well, at least what I watch doesn't have so much moral in it. (Maybe there might be morality on other channels, Idk for sure) KZbin's Algorithm cultivates channels that entertain you. But, isn't that the whole point of KZbin? KZbin is basically a place where people post creative and amusing content, and most KZbinrs hope that every viewer will have a better day after watching the video they posted. And most of the viewers hope that they feel better by watching videos to get motivated to do other stuff. (making music, doing some homework, working online, etc.) KZbin is not a place to achieve and share morality, but a place to motivate yourself and others. Besides, we all hope that others will have a good time, right? Yes, this might be all a game. But, it is a game to entertain others. "Filling the needs of people emotionally" is key. Also, about a big KZbinr doing challenges with a small KZbinr. It will be a way to promote oneself for the small KZbinr, and a good way to make content for the big KZbinr, so it's a win-win relationship. Also, the viewers on both channels have a chance to get along and can make an even bigger community. Therefore, I think it's a good idea for me. Thanks for reading :)

Calm Mario, a lot of popular things have bad impacts on people even if it's harmless, but it's up to the person to decide if it effects them or not. You can live your whole life thinking about a single moment, or live your life without it ever effecting you. It depends on your personality or how you take things to heart. Yeah, I agree. Those viral challenge videos usually give me a good distraction, but once they’re over I feel empty. “Look at all these people winning, don’t you wish you were one of them???” Yes Mr. Beast, I do wish that sometimes. But smaller channels do give me a better feeling afterwards (most of the time). Yours makes me proud of how creative some people can be. Small animation channels show me the perseverance people can have even when they have a long way to go and aren’t getting many views. They’re drawing and animating just because they enjoy it and they want to share that joy. Of course, some of the smaller channels don’t make me feel as great, like the drama ones and the tea spillers. I get nothing out of those except a distraction. And some bigger channels are great too! The Theory channels (Game, Film, and Food) show me that thinking outside of the box can be really cool and rewarding. Film breakdown channels like Schaffrillas Productions and Nerdstalgic teach me to watch things with a critical, yet understanding eye. I can’t even get started on how amazing Unus Annus was and what it taught so many people. KZbin is an amazing platform and so much good can be done with it, though sometimes at the expense of views. I think there are many channels that foster negative mindsets, and the algorithm favors those. I hope you figure out what good you want to do with this channel, but just remember that you’re already doing great. I will continue to be an avid watcher, although I was late to this one, and many others will be to. It’s up to viewers to choose which channels they want to invest in, and I hope more choose you.

calm mario Personally the content that makes me happiest is when I can tell that the youtuber is having genuine fun doing what they do. I think you excel at this from my perspective, you have a real sincere joy to the discovery of fun and unique sounds and how to use them to create music in the strangest ways. Bigger channels almost inevitably when they are playing to the algorithm will hit a stride where you can see in their eyes and hear in their voices that they're almost becoming scripted in their actions and reactions and doing things they really don't care about in order to maintain their position. I can't blame them, a lot of youtubers are in this for the long haul as a legitimate job and sometimes you do need to grind. But when it comes to entertaining people in my opinion emotion is key and it is incredibly difficult to fake or hide emotions in the kind of media that KZbin is about.

As someone who occasionally dips my toes into content creating, I think there is a lot gained from the smallest amount of support on something you worked on and as a viewer, I think it feels nice to know the support you give makes someone’s day. Calm mario. I am so glad that people think about things like this. I hadn't realized that this was really what was bugging me. Those giveaway videos are always super cool--and they're the most nice to watch when they record people's reactions and they share their stories with them. By the end of the video, you're so right; it's easy to get sucked into watching the whole giveaway videos just to see those few times it really touches somebody's life. I find myself doing the same thing with Facebook: I get caught up in looking at every single thing people share and don't get to see the type of stuff that I came for in the first place. Facebook has made it more available to customize our news feed, so I've started to take advantage of that, but it still comes down to how much time I let myself spend on the app. I feel like I'm getting better at deciding when I need to do something else--it has come with practice. this is some very calm mario music, uwu. In reality, I've become disenchanted with large channels in any capacity, I never got into Mr. Beast or his content but I've seen it recently with large letsplay channels. It just seems like everything is overly fabricated and none of it is genuine anymore, there are a couple of large channels that I still watch because they haven't like... given themselves into the corporate rat race that youtube has seemingly become. I've always thought the size of the channel was an indirect effect of how disingenuous their content is, not necessarily how good it is or popular it can become. That fact has just been proven to me time and time again the more I look into it. And as a sidenote, I love your content the way that it is. It's 5:30 am on a thursday and here I am, excited yet again at having a sean hogan youtube notification on my phone. I haven't gotten that kind of feeling out of a larger channel ever.

Calm mario, while larger youtubers are entertaining, that is about it, it is really more like watching a TV series than anything, while smaller youtubers are a lot more engaged with their audiences and it makes them feel more like people, sometimes the audio and video quality is a bit worse but the quality of the content itself more than makes up for it, I also find it very cute when the get excited about the smaller milestones that bigger youtubers normally don't care about. Overall, I like what you're doing, and keep being you.

*calm mario* this is. Hey man, saw your question in the secret screen. Honestly I agree, there's a lot of negative vibes in the YT sphere and with the algorithm. Which is why we need those positive vibes you make! Your style is so unique and your personality so genuine and kind. Keep on doing what your doing. Caring about the emotional health of another person could never be a fault. And if you want to grow, latch onto what's trending at the time to get noticed while still keeping your personal spin on things. So long as you focus on the core essence of what you want to bring to people you should be fine. That's my personal take on it anyways. Love you man, have a good dag dawg day, and shine on!

That's something you dont see too often with huge youtube channels. They're mostly just going through the motions. anyway, thanks for the videos!

Honestly, I feel good for the poeple in need that big channels do big giveaways for or just do some charity stuff, it would kinda be the same if small channels did it to, but small channels don't really do big giveaways but I feel like they're usually nicer to the viewers (probably because of the fear to lose fans, but idk I'm not a KZbinr), don't get me wrong, big channels are also nice to the viewers but it just doesn't feel like the same energy y'know? Anyways, great video, as always and hope you're having a great day/night! calm mario

Calm mario. You got this in the bag, my man. I understand how it must make you anxious, but honestly, I personally believe you’re doing a great job of both entertaining people and making them feel better. You talk to the viewer like a real person, not a dollar. You keep doing you, dude. You got this. 🤙

I think your content is just right. It is calming and it's a break from a stressful day. Your videos don't have the same impact as an Mr. Beast video, but his videos are fast paste and lots of things happen at once. Your videos are more relaxed and I like it. It's like a calm mario.

calm mario i agree that a whole lot of videos here forget to provide much of an experience to viewers beyond just entertainment. however, i’m more than certain we can make youtube a site worth visiting. your channel is great at this; i’ve never seen a single video of yours that failed to interest me. i hope more people like you can show up and change the ways we make content.

I'm late to the calm mario party- but I'm stopping by to let you know that your musical blips have such an inspiring air about them. by the end of any of your videos I feel like I just got to sit outside with a friend for a while. I don't get that kind of calmness and excitement from mega-channels. calm mario

Calm Mario, I've read a few other comments and I think everyone seems to have touched upon the same key points that hit me: a) It depends on the person (their personality, their mood at the time of scrolling through YT, etc.) Everyone has different tastes and some folks are able to figure out what videos make them feel good and fulfilled after watching while others enjoy the vegetative state of entertainment after a long day of work/school (or vise versa.) And b) It's wonderful that you care about our mental well-being. However, don't take it upon yourself to give us something to feel good about ourselves at the end of the video. For all you know, your video might be the last in a long run of procrastinated YT black hole videos and we fill sh*tty afterwards. Or, your video might be the first in a long, sh*tty day making it the mood-uplifter we need. You do you. You're doing good. So keep doing what you're doing. Which is you. :)

" *calm mario* " I don't watch Mr. Beast but I have seen a few of his videos, and those types of videos do not necessarily make me feel better or worse. Some of them are just interesting and I watch because I am curious. I do think they make other people feel better though, and maybe they have an effect that kind of help restore faith in humanity. I wish you good luck in making videos that have the good content your videos have always had and that are viral! Edit: It looks like I'm the first person to actually say *calm mario* with the bold and everything

~~~ calm mario ~~~ I don't think youtubers have a responsibility to their viewers to make any particular kind of content, but I DO respect you a whole lot for feeling that you have a responsibility to have a positive impact on people. I think that shouldering that responsibility is a decision that you made, and considering actions speak louder than words, I think that decision speaks volumes about you as a person. You're a good dude. I find that the content that I love most on youtube is content that shares something honest about the creator. Movies With Mikey, Wintergatan, Ze Frank (not the "true facts" videos, although those are also great), creators that otherwise have little in common, but all of them are willing and interested to show their audience something that feels really genuine. I think you do that as well with your upbeat, cheery attitude. You seem to get real joy out of these videos, and so in turn I do to. I don't really have any experience to offer advice from, but purely as a viewer, I think what would make me love your videos even more is for you to take any time you need to deeply reflect on what makes YOU happy to create. What puts a smile on your face, what would make even if nobody would ever see it. I imagine that's a very hard thing to figure out, but if that thing ends up being a youtube video, I bet it'd be a banger :) TL:DR - keep doing you, you're doing great!
