Jungs wie immer ein geiles filmchen bin 2022 das erste mal bei der NYMR gewesen und zugleich bei der Steam Gala das war einfach nur Geil wen der wind richtig steht hört man ab Grosmant die Loks bis nach Goathland Donnern. Und Dank euch mach ich selber so aufnammen und stell sie auf Youtue one den England Film würde ich immer noch in Deutschland und der Schweiz rum karen aber in England sieht man so was jeden Tag im Sommer oder auch bei Steam Galas oder auch Diesel Galas Danke für so was.🙂

Es muss nicht immer 01 sein. 😊Andere Länder haben auch schöne Lokomotiven, ich habe den Eindruck das in Großbritannien sich mehr alte Schätzchen erhalten haben als in anderen Ländern. Erstens: Was fragst Du sowas? Warum schaust Du nicht nach, erzählst lieber Dummheiten? Zweitens: Der Typ erzählt irgendwas von BR 50 und 55 - was verdeutlicht, dass er nicht wirklich weiß worüber er redet, denn die 55 mit einer 50 zu vergleichen ist schon echt daneben. Wahrscheinlich reicht ihm der Fakt, dass beide einen Schornstein in der Mitte haben. Drittens: Für die 9f ist es offensichtlich nicht einfach, Daten über ihre Leistung zu bekommen. Ich hab jedenfalls aufs Schnelle keine gefunden. Was ich aber gefunden habe sind die Ähnlichkeiten zwischen 9f und 50, und der Fakt, dass die 9f die schwächere Vertreterin ist: Die Anfahrzugkraft bei der 9f ist ca 175 kN, bei der 50 fast 220 kN und für die 44 gilt der Wert 340 kN. Das macht schon klar, was da vergleichbar ist, nicht wahr? Was mir in dem video aufgefallen ist: Anscheinend ist dese 9f ein schlechter Dampferzeuger, denn wieso sonst müssten sie das Ofenloch immer sperrangelweit offen halten, um das Feuer ordentlich auf Höchsttemparatur zu bringen?

Kinda pity the video carries English title, yet there's no English CC... German might be a nice language on its own, but then English is somewhat international language. I see no reason to put an English title on a video that has no English language in it whatsoever - heck, even those English spoken parts are muted and drowned out by German voice-overs.

Especially with AUTO-generated CCs, which often sucks even in the original language - and, as they say, "garbage in, garbage out". So, thanks, but no, thanks. Now, I'm not sure whether you're missing the point altogether or... or it is something else, but the crux of my whining was that the video carries English title, and because of it a reasonable person might reasonably expect that the video itself is INDEED an English language video, right? But NO, it's NOT in English, and it doesn't even have proper human-made English CCs. And while all videos with any CCs can be squeezed through auto-translation and mangled in the process, that's hardly "a solution". As explained above, QED. But, actually.... How about naming the video like, say, "Паровоз 9Ф на подъеме становится все громче и громче"? Or "Lokomotif uap 9F di tanjakan semakin kencang"? Or even "上昇中の蒸気機関車9Fはますますうるさくなります"? After all, what's the difference? The title is in one language, the narrative is in another language altogether, but anyway, one can always use auto-translation, right? Why then English title? Feeling tad clickbaity, aren't we...? And then I'd agree (to a degree...) that there's no real need for ANY narrative to enjoy videos with steam locos in them, and in fact I often do watch videos with titles like "Dampflok 23 058 im Hochschwarzwald - Mitfahrt auf dem Führerstand" and I don't have any qualms about it - hey, it's German language video, I got it - so while I might barely got the gist of the narrative in it, should there be any, I don't give an eff - steam locos are great in any language, aren't they? So AGAIN, WHY English title, if a German one would do? Oder, "warum einfach wenn's auch kompliziert geht", ja? Funnily enough, the notification for your response carries "Dampflok 9F auf Bergfahrt wird immer lauter - 92134 knallt gen Goathland" title... Whisky Tango Foxtrot...?

Most of our videos are without comment and are therefore visible in every country with the same information content. Every video is put online in the same way - also with an English title. We believe our videos will find interested viewers across the planet. Unfortunately, the effort to offer the off-speaker in several languages is disproportionate. Apart from the approximately 400 million English native speakers, it is completely normal to find videos on the Internet every day whose language you do not know. That is, "dodging the issue". I never said you should offer translations in several languages, or even that you are somewhat obliged to provide English one for all and any videos of yours - all I said it's kinda clickbaity, if not outright dodgy, to put English title on the video that's made entirely in German. Yes, it's your channel and you can do as you please, but then I can have my own opinion about it, and I'm free to voice it. Which I did, and tried my best to explain to you WHY I find this sort of "marketing" misleading if not just sorta dishonest. Again, I have no issues whatsoever regarding German-narrated German made videos with German language titles, about whatever. I do not really speak German, but due to language exposure I can, most of the time, get the basic gist of the narrative, especially when accompanied with a video. For instance, some time ago YT recommended me a whole slew of videos like "Achtung Kontrolle" and related "Umfall" genre, which I watched for quite a while, and while most of the details were lost on me I could still follow the narrative, most of the time. But then there's a difference when I click on "Dampflok 9F auf Bergfahrt wird immer lauter - 92134 knallt gen Goathland" ("den Goathland", I guess...?) and get to watch a German-narrated video - and when I click on "Steam locomotive 9F on ascent ..." and then I'm to watch a German-narrated video. Without any English CCs TO BOOT. Which on its own is a very good video indeed, yet the whole situation feels sorta like going on a date with nice lass you met yesterday only to find she's "Conchita Wurst" kind of woman, if you get my drift... "Dis-cre-pan-cy" it spells, and no one like it - nor being taken for a ride. That's it, that's all. You'll do as you please and choose, as you are absolutely free to do so. Maybe it will win you some clicks, maybe it will piss off some viewers, who knows - and who am I anyway to tell you how to run your channel, right? Tschüss.
