Since you're adding characters it would make sense you would add Pete. Since he is actually one of if not THE oldest disney character still used. He's creation dates back from the Alice comedies from 1925 (he was a bear then) wich would be interesting to reference

Idk if you know this but the Mad Doctor is also in the public domain. Maybe use him as a boss fight?

Hay if you're adding characters than you should try and see if you could in anyway add in the comic character Krazy Kat as a cameo or Easter Egg, I don't think he should be a playable character or anything because he technically isn't a toon but he is public domain and the first ever instance of the rubberhose style of toons- he actually was the main inspiration for Felix the Cat!
