Nyonya Steamed Glutinous Rice
(Lo Mai Gai)
Ingredients
1 kg Glutinous Rice
700g Minced Pork
To chop:
80g Dried Mushrooms
70g Garlics
70g Shallots
125g Candied Wintermelons
1 to 2 tbsp Tau Cheo (Bean Paste)
2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
25g Coriander Powder
White Pepper
1 cube of Chicken Stock
Salt and Sugar
150ml Water
50 pcs Dried Blue Pea Flowers, soaked in hot water to get blue colored water
Pandan Leaves, cut into 2-inch pcs
