I watch your channel more for the fishtank videos but you've introduced me to Steampunk - seems like a pretty cool hobby to have in addition to fish!

I feel like single coils would go with the feel more for some reason. Imagine it's the 1700's and you had to build this from scratch... That's the idea behind this right? Ya really gonna know the wisdom and design behind a humbucker? Granted... an electric guitar all together wouldn't exist... but I'd make it as simple and technologically ancient as possible lol :-P
