I attended this game and needed a long nap after to recover. The energy in the stands was off the charts. We stood, yelled, stomped, screamed, and gave all we had to the DAWGS that day. It seemed to help and coach Neuheisel came right over to our section (near tunnel) after the game to thank the fans. Epic day at Husky Stadium.

@@daddio159 The thing is, Washington had a really really solid team in 2000. But I saw that Oklahoma team in person against K-State. Their offense literally had four or five wide receivers that would have started on any Big XII team depth chart. Their tight end seemed to always be wide open. Their running back defenders would hit him straight on and bounce backwards. K-State had a tremendous defense just like Washington did in 2000, but they literally moved the ball at will the entire game against us in Manhattan. You could get them to 3rd and 5 when they were on offense knowing as a defense that they were still going to pick up a first down with some short screen pass that was going to go for 60 yards easily. That offense was one of the best offenses I’ve ever seen. Their defense was also extremely solid.
