@@BigBrand777I agree but name a better coach right now. Not a name like Cowher because that’s not happening. Name one realistic option right now. I think the only reason why we haven’t gotten rid of him is because there was nobody better than management was willing to pay for. Which is fair because most head coaches don’t have the same consistency in the regular season to even make the playoffs. The last thing we want is to cycle through head coaches every two years and end up in purgatory like the browns, panthers, raiders, jags, etc. so I think we do need to make a change at HC but right now it’s not a smart move if we want to trend up. We don’t want to tumble down to the basement just because we’re made at the management and HC.

@@TheRocstar504 but the difference in your rationale is that his decline was going from a top 5 qb to a top half of QBs. The reason for both teams moving on is because of the allocation of the cap not necessarily because he’s the worst qb in the league. He’s still productive just not worth top end salary.

What?? First of all we can't pay both and convince one of them to sit again. Secondly the bears players fucking loved him. The steelers players and coaches all love him. His not saying all the stupid same old stuff russ says that no one believes. He says all the right things like when he got benched or muffed the snap in the cowboys game. If anything we learned russ is not the leader we hoped he was. Saying the right things doesn't mean shit if no one believes you. Fields has been a class act through Chicago and Pitt.
