There truly isnt anything like fishing the Great Lakes! Lk Michigan, Huron (same body of water divided by the Mackinac bridge. Huron to the West and Michigan to the East) and Superior especially! Walleye, Salmon of all species, Trout of all species (one specif hybrid of trout especially: Splake: Cross between a Lake Trout and Brook Trout ), and my personal favorite, Yellow Perch! Sarah, aka, DeerMom, will absolutely confirm this. Soo good! Keep up the fantastic work ya'll. Always looking forward to more. Enjoy!

Robert, I have to thank you for the many fishing tips!! I live in the Port Huron area of Michigan, right where the St. Clair River empties into Lake Huron. To the south in goes into Lake St. Clair which has amazing and world class Bass Tournaments. I've always caught mainly perch and pan fish. I've always wanted to catch walleye & salmon (my favorites). I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. If I'm using the wrong hooks, bait, lures...I just don't know, especially as I am fishing from land. You seem to know all the little tricks to help be a better fisherman. What else can I do. Even the river has great fishing. Lake St. Clair along the shores of Selfridge ANG base is one of the prime breeding grounds for muskie and pike. So it's not a lack of fish, it's lack of catching that's got me flustered!!
