I miss good steelhead fishing here in Ohio it’s gone to the pits stocking program is a joke anymore we get terrible runs and the new strain they gave us are super small fish absolutely terrible now

I’ve been out for full days and days and days with my pin every weekend and off/ rain days during the week fished so many spots I know there’s something wrong in what I’m doing but I have no idea what... I’ve caught chromers on hard ware and big specs on flies but with this float fishing shit I just feel useless I try everything all my gear is correct my drifts are perfect my eggs are good what the helllll makes me wanna snap my shit over my head and dive in head first

Nice setup for big water. In my village centerpinners from the land of Ohio like to fish smaller tribs and fish over everyone else's drift. I hope this isn't your mode of operndi.

Up in Ontario Canada we stand 6 feet apart and drift with ten bobbers in a line all day it’s all about getting in the rhythym and not long lining the guy below you or low holing the guy above you

@@1USACitizen192 generally from what I was taught it’s free game to cast a little above you but you shouldn’t be sending drifts anywhere below where the guy down from you is standing lol ive seen fights on the river but not very often
