Fishhawk, most people set the hook so strong or amazes me they don't just tear the fish mouth off, I love how gentle you are worth the fish from the moment of hook to release! Your the man!
@Yamjam-l7t10 ай бұрын
A really good fisherman doesn't need to yank and panic reel. You're a lot more likely to actually get the fish if you just focus and guide it toward you.

man this is awesome as fu*k! nothing better than reeling in a trout and different ones at that! this might sound dumb but nothings beats roasting some good herb and casting and reeling in with the suspense so much higher because you are so much higher lmao- the amazing feeling of a "smack " or a bite literally so much fun and your video amps me up so much more! how much more realistic can this video get honestly this is exactly what people need to watch and for ppl to make quality "REAL" video's alike! great job on all of it and tight lines sir!

You should come to Oregon sometime and check out Miller Lake! Really awesome place to catch trout! You should do a catch and cook there because the trout from there are some of the tastiest I've ever eaten! I like to let them soak in lemon and lime juice for a little while with some garlic pepper little bit of salt then put them in a wood smoker. A little bit of butter on top of them in the smoker isn't a bad idea either but not a requirement. I'm not a fan of fish skin but this method of cooking made the skin delicious as well. You have to fillet the fish with the skin side down exposed to the smoke. You want the skin crispy but not burnt. It's a slow cook and gives you time to go do some catch and release for the meantime. If you ever decide to do this I be happy to assist you.

Spinners do work really well for trout as they look like a bug in the water. Mepps and Panther Martin tend to work the best but at nearly $5 each, PowerBait is probably the cheapest route to go if one is fishing in a heavily weeded or wooded stream or pond.

🎣 Like always, a job well done on catching these nice sized beautiful trout. truly they are and there's no question about it. At least you're catching them, the weather's been so hot here in Pennsylvania almost 100 degrees and I'm not joking. Even when I see the trout underneath the trees in the shades and stuff like that, they do not want to bite. So I'm hoping the fall wil Be much cooler than.

I really enjoyed this - thanks. It gives a really good idea of what it's like to be there, and I think for me that's because you don't say much. If anything would make it better (for me anyway), it would be more of an idea of the size of the fish - your hand in the shot to compare it with, when the fish is at rest, that kind of thing.

I notice you use a barrel swivel part way up your line. Where I fish the trees are hanging in such a way as I need the lure close to the rod when I cast. I use a barrel and swivel on the lure. Ant problems with that?
