Funny I did this years ago on my Civic SI and I'm looking to do it on my FR-S but I can't find a good quality steering wheel wrap which one do you recommend?

I did something similar to my Honda Del Sol, which was a two tone red/black combo leather steering wheel cover also. The stitching on my one was not as intricate as this but due to the requirements to have constant tension, equal tension etc the whole process took me several hours to complete. As the video the final outcome was amazing and glad I did it. With the steering wheel constantly being held when driving, it gives a whole new level to driving satisfaction which you benefit from constantly every second of the drive. The pain and effort is well worth the benefit (visually and physically) that keeps on giving every minute that you are in the car.

I’ve been waiting for this video 👏 Looks good! I’m about to do the same on my Forte, but it has a larger diameter steering wheel than Civics which means even more stitching 😩 so I may just replace the wheel since I have to take it off to replace the clock spring anyway.

Dudeeeeeee I CANNOT BELIEVE you attempted this yourself! lol !!! This is/was a tedious NIGHTMARE! The top left looks like ass I can’t even lie BUT it does look better than your raggedy old wheel AND with some more red thread and a little more patience at least you can try to fix it one day if you so choose but Kudo’s to you man for trying! - I’m so OCD this would’ve taken me a solid week 😆 LEZ GOOOO BROOOO WE NEED SOME MORE VIDEOS! If I ever do this I'm def taking the wheel off lol I'm dying to know how it feels. It looks like it makes the wheel a bit fatter which is what I want to feel the most since stock feels great in the hands

It's actually harder with the wheel off cause there's nothing holding it and when you are stitching it would want to move all over the place

I wrapped my wheel like this and unfortuantely durability was lacking. I ended up replacing my steering wheel entirely with another one in better condition. I hope you have better luck than I did.
