I love the 5th one about energy. I feel like a lot of ppl think more energy = better dancing but it doesn’t bc great dancing takes control and over dancing tends to come off as messy

As a beginner I absolutely love all your videos, just need to let you Steezy people know the dance-along parts in this video and the practice sheet are both gold! A huge thanks from a 120% energy beginner who is so stiff and awkward.

@steijnmuller72283 жыл бұрын
Hey Steezy! Thanks a lot for this video, it’s very helpful! If you don’t mind, I was hoping to get some advice from you guys. So I am currently starting out with dancing, but a “problem” I have is that I like many different styles of music, and therefore I also want to learn many different dance styles (ballet, hip-hop, house, tap, swing, popping: essentially everything haha). However, because of this (and because of my perfectionism), I sort of get a bit overwhelmed by all the things I want to learn. Now I sometimes struggle to make a coherent and focussed dance practice routine at home and choosing which classes I need to take every week. Could you guys maybe share your (very valued!) ideas on this? Perhaps other beginning dancers are facing this issue as well :) Thank you greatly!
@lsutton30582 жыл бұрын
Saaame! I've figured though, do one (or two) at a time. Time will pass anyway, so there's no need to learn all the dance styles immediately. Time is your friend. Nail the basics of one and then try the next. Once you've cycled through a few, you can go back and level up on the previous ones. And you'll have a better feel of what styles you love most if you commit to really understanding each one in turn rather than doing a smattering of half-hearted attempts of all the styles.

Please make a video on dance career in the dance industry and how to place ourselves as a professional dancer in our field.
