At least I am so happy to fly almost the same plane. When my LS3-17 is in 15 meter configuration, winglets attached, it is identical to Stefans LS3 WL. Somehow I don't manage to do that phantastic flights of his.

There are cockpit air vents for air conditioning. If it's cold, you better have warm clothing on, especially for the feet.

Should work ok, especially with the CG hook. But I was asking myself the same when I first saw my footage 😅 It's called LARUS

Right :D Just corrected it. I think it's not as good as in soaring conditions. I'm not fully get through the algorithm but in my understanding it needs some circles in gliding condition to get the exact wind and than calculates via IAS, TAS, heading and bearing the wind changes. But maybe some of the developers can clear this up.

I´m flying here an old glider from 1977, which costs about 40.000 € for the complete set incl. trailer. A brand new 18 m wingspan glider with self launch propulsion, equipment incl. German VAT costs more than 300.000 €

@@SteFly The Archaeopteryx self propulsion electro glider's price as advertised on their Ruppert Composite website is CHF 108,000. Or about €112,000. Not cheap but certainly better than €300,000!
