Absolutely blown away! Never seen anything like this before. Those sequences with the water ballast release set against the backdrop of the sun are quite possibly the finest shot of a glider I've ever come across.

You have to start when you become 14 ! Then work your ass off, train more then others, become world champion, and the manufacturers are hunting you ! But even then you can´t make a living from soaring !!! So it´s better to be a little crazy, like all of us....

With the retractable tail wheel, how do you deal with the glider getting it in and out of the trailer? Can you leave the gear main gear down or is there a way of separating the retraction of the main and tail wheel? Perhaps it comes with a second tail dolly with a small fixed wheel that is used to get it in and out of the trailer?

You need to use the taildolly in the trailer. The direction can be locked of the tail dolly. Absolutely no problem.

Macht schon auch etwas Vibrationen und super leise ist er auch nicht im Cockpit. Aber deutlich besser als ein Verbrennungsmotor!

The retracting motor and prop acting like an airbrake when extended for a low level "save" seems like a bad idea in comparison to FES - any comment?

Yes, I would not want to use the motor in 10 m above ground as you can do with the FES. It’s nearly the same as a combustion engine self launcher except the motor starts immediately. On the other hand it’s a huge advantage that I can make a selflaunch with this system with MTOW.
