The Buffalo Bills are trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans for a 2025 second-round pick. They also traded a 2024 sixth-rounder and 2025 fifth-round pick to Houston. Gabe Davis also notably left the Bills after signing a three-year, $39 million deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Colin Cowherd reacts to the trade, explaining why Buffalo is in trouble building the WR core with Head Coach Sean McDermott. The LSU-Iowa Elite Eight matchup set a record-breaking 13.2 million viewers, more than Game 5 of the World Series and four of the five 2023 NBA Finals games. Colin reacts to the report and discusses whether women's basketball can continue the upward trend.

Last season in Buffalo's push for the playoffs they relied on Shakir, Kincaid and Cook, Diggs was not a top option evident by his what 10 receptions in that 6 game winning streak that made them the number 2 seed in the AFC. Buffalo will be fine you can loosen that grip on those pearls.

@benguensche The only notable offensive pieces they had before they drafted Stroud was nico Collins and dameon pierce. Dalton Schultz was a trade and so was Noah Brown. So yes it really only took one off-season for them to go from bad to great. They built the offense they had in a year.

When Mike played in the NBA he was beyond box office. He kept eyes and ears glued to the game. Then his sneakers just took it over the top. Which is why ppl like myself wear em not just for the stories behind him but because he was a warrior on and off the court. Mind you the 💰 was nowhere near as good as it is now. Players today are more paid but wanna play less. I can’t get with that as a basketball fan. But the only way the NBA will catch the NFL it has to bring about transcendent players to the platform. And that will take a while.

The thing that I hate about the WR "turbulance" that you mentioned is the fact that it's ALL SELF-INFLICTED !!!!!!!! There did NOT "have" to be ANY "turbulance" at all ... BUT Diggs CHOSE to create it. Shame on him -- an EXTREMELY SELFISH and UNPROFESSIONAL thing for him to do, an INCREDIBLY DISLOYAL thing to do to Josh Allen who ALWAYS "had his back," and a DISGRACEFULLY UNGRATEFUL thing to do to a GM and team who gave him a "new lease on life" after he made himself a toxic cancer in Minnesota and then also paid him BIG MONEY for the trouble.

While Caitlin Clark hadn’t blown up Womens basketball yet her freshman year, A LOT of people that follow it thought she was the better freshman than “National Player of the Year” Page Beckers, and if you Google their stats it’s pretty crazy Caitlin didn’t win it in 2021! She was first team All American and freshman of the year, where player of the year was given to Paige. But, here’s there stats for that season: Paige averaged 18 points per game, Caitlin averaged 27! Paige averaged 5.8 assists, Caitlin 7.1 assists! Paige averaged 5.8 rebounds per game where Caitlin averaged 5.9! I mean, honestly I’d love to hear someone explain why Paige won it that year and not Caitlin…?

IMO, I think this is all his play to finish his career with his brother in Dallas. Maybe there were more things in Buffalo that we don't and will find out. However, he was a four-time Pro Bowler, two-time All-Pro, getting a lot of targets from one of the best QBs in the game, while getting paid handsomely to do so. Houston on paper is slightly better than Buffalo, but they are still in the second-tier behind KC and probably Baltimore, same as Buffalo. Houston agrees to waive the remaining three years of his deal so he can become a FA next season. He doesn't need to be on 'Good Behavior' in order to get paid, he already has the bag. I think deep down he just wants to play with his brother.

Gotta push back on this constant refrain of McDermott can’t build a run game. Bills had one of the best run games and offensive lines in football last year. He figured it out. Also, pre Josh Allen, the Bills had one of the better run games in the league. That’s not on McDermott just because he specializes defense and not offense. Paying for a full price ticket then finding that the star players aren't playing is unacceptable (unless it's the last game of the season and you're resting players cos the game doesn't matter). It's absolutely valid. Andy has won games and made a super bowl without Mahomes. Took Donovan McNabb to a super bowl. Belichick has done NOTHING without Brady

@@cruxofthesubject1402 Reid has a great GM with power, a great defensive coordinator along with Mahomes. Belichick ran the Pats all by himself. Don't even try, you look silly. Andy Reid is a great OC, no doubt about that. Maybe best ever. So it's Belichick's fault that he drafted and developed Brady and had him for 2 decades? What did Bill Walsh win w/o Joe Montana? This is the all-time stupidest criticism put out there. You try to win when the owner forces Mac Jones on you. Belichick built up that Browns team that became the Ravens. I remember how tough that Browns team was before they moved. Then Bill's guys were the Ravens after that loser Modell got rid of Belichick.

Josh Allen was trash prior to Diggs arriving in Buffalo. And stop with the Mahomes didn’t have a #1 receiver. He had Kelce plus he’s Mahomes. Allen has never been, nor ever will be Mahomes.

You need WRs to win SBs, Colin see's the greatest QB of this generation win with no WRs and tries to start a DUMB narrative that you dont need WRs, I cant stand Colin sometimes, he always makes up lies to fit his takes omg, I wish we could call in on his show, 1 YEAR OUT OF HOW MANY SBs A TEAM WON WITHOUT A STAR WR smh

So Angel Reese had nothing to do with the ratings also? I’m not trying to make this about race, but that’s America for you. The white face is more palatable to the majority of America. You really couldn’t say the name Angel as being part of why the ratings were up. Yes, Caitlyn Clark is probably the best college woman basketball player we’ve ever seen, but for that other side of America, the color side or just even saying the black side of America angel Reese was a huge part also for why the ratings were up

Saying "I'm not trying to make this about race" and then completely making it about race is hilarious. Your argument doesn't hold water. America tunes in for stars regardless of race. Tiger Woods would be one of a hundred examples I could give you. You yourself just said it - Clark is probably the best women's player we've ever seen. Race is not in the equation. Skill is. People tune in for greatness. Angel Reece is a great player, but she's not a generational talent like Clark that can drive ratings. Why do people not understand this? There is definitely still racism in this country but this is absolutely not an applicable situation.

Colin coward keeps taking passive aggressive shots at Lebron James. It’s hilarious. We haven’t received the same ratings since Jordan really? Even with an increase in population and income and profitability? The creation of social media? Really?😅
