Carlos Tavares is like herpes. He's the gift that keeps on giving. This is all part of his cost cuts and price increases.
@MichaelSmith-kr9qw3 күн бұрын
A lot of it has to do with employees not given a shit as well. Cost cutting might be a small problem but leaving stuff unplugged or misaligned at the factory level shows even the employees are at fault. Carlos pulled the trigger but all the other idiots stuck their feet in the path as well. I am sorry but even when I was unhappy with a employer I couldn't let a vehicle go out under my watch unless it was done 100% to the best of my ability. Only way to fix the issues is retrain your employees and implement proper quality control measures before the vehicles leave the factory. Then dealers need to start doing proper PDI not just a glance over and put it out on the lot.
@djjd30273 күн бұрын
@MichaelSmith-kr9qw no question about that. But in defense, the workers when parts come in looking like garbage and the company doesn't care and you could lose your job at any moment, then the workers don't care

I bought a brand new 2024 ram Laramie in Late November. I had an excessive vibration throughout the cabin when driving they put brand new tires on the vehicle and the vibration continued now the vehicle has been in the dealership’s shop for over 20 days. They’ve actually had it longer than I have and I haven’t even made my first payment. They opened up a star Case and still cannot figure out what is causing the vibration. This is my third ram Laramie in the past five years. I loved the vehicles, but this one has been a nightmare. I’m requesting that Chrysler does a buyback on this truck and I hope they step up to the plate and do the right thing and get their act together.

TK - I think your refrigerator needs another magnet! 😃 Back to the topic at hand - Autonation CDJR in Spring, TX is advertising several new leftover 4x4 2023 Classic Tradesman trims for %30 below dealer MSRP. Mostly Quad cabs, but a few Crew cabs. My quick calculator math shows %30 on the 2023 V6 models and about %25-%27 on the 2024 and Hemi equipped models. Those 2023's are tempting...I could always use a spare plain old truck on the farm.

The part yall fail to realize is stellantis use the same suppliers these other companies use. Stellantis/fca use the cheapest material instead of the higher end stuff. So yes those crappy suppliers have better stuff stellantis just don't purchase it. Another issue is stellantis pay is at the bottom of the barrel so that's what they get people that can't promote change and the rest giving minimum effort. Pay at other companies are significantly higher. GM hire supervisors at 95k Ford is close and stellantis is giving that to Department managers when the other 2 are in the 130k range.
