Wow, thanks for this video. I bought Stellaris a couple years ago and I’ve been sitting on it since. Used to be a fan of Microprose Master of Orion back in the day, and I just got off a weeklong Crusader Kings 3 bender, so I assumes I could figure Stellaris out…just needed some basics and I’ll fumble through it eventually. Your video has helped a whole bunch!

I have too many alloys and too few civilian goods. How do I turn those who work at the forge into artificers?
@defraggedzebra6 ай бұрын
One of the planetary designations you can assign switches a worker on the industrial districts from alloys to consumer goods
@RobBCactive28 күн бұрын
Early in the game you can change economy from mixed to prioritising civilian goods to increase research, remember to buy 10 alloys a month. 10 years later when CG surpluses are rolling in you can change it back to mixed or war economy to increase forge efficiency.

I haven't figured out to exploit this game yet. When I think I'm doing good there is always some larger entity that crushes me in the end. And I haven't gotten to the crisis yet. When one fleet of theirs is bigger than my combined fleet, it's game over.

These Stellaris "Basic Tutorial" videos always brush over the most complex aspects while dwelling on the most simple.
@maskettaman14884 ай бұрын
Almost like the complex bits are intentionally not part of a tutorial on the basics
@TheHipsterGamer11 күн бұрын
You literally just described what “basic tutorial” means… you know, a tutorial for the basics? Basic as in, simple, simple as in, not complex. How can you complain about a video doing exactly what it said it was going to do? Your comment is like complaining to a basic driving instructor that he focuses too much on how to operate the steering wheel instead of teaching you how to drift.

The content wall. The game evolving may seem simple to someone who was their for the updates, but any one seeing for the first time has literal years of content, systems, and changes pushed at the same time.

Id much rather a starter tutorial that shows how to play with every tutorial. Combined. If the comments are anything to go by, the only ones watching this are veterans with thousands of hours. Thats not a useful tutorial, that isnt a near identical copy of your previous tutorials. Milk that same ol content!! Love this channel and the content, still watching it. But fr show how all the dlc has impacted my game. Please.
@gmradio24366 ай бұрын
This is a good tutorial for getting new people into the game. Aspec has a devoted fanbase that likes to meme. It seems basic, but considering the limited number of to date tutorials, it is easier to show than teach at times. Individual DLC tutorials mostly get rolled into the DLC reviews.
