Stellaris Astral Planes Announced - The Next Story Pack is Multiversal

Stellaris is going back to its roots. Back to Exploration. It's been so long since we've had a story pack focused on pure exploration and new worlds. But here it is. Astral Planes will be launching together with the 3.10 update. Whenever that is. It'll bring new Relics, Origins, Civics and finally, finally, NEW MUSIC. I'm so glad about that part, it's been so long.
ASpec's videos are based around the popular Grand Strategy Game; Stellaris as well as other fun science fiction properties. Delve into a galaxy that is both dark and full of secrets. This channel has tons of guide, overviews, musing and other content for you to enjoy in the semi-classic game review format. So stick around, grab a drink. Some of this content was heavily inspired by the likes of TheSpiffingBrit, RimmyDownUnder and GrayPlays. Other content is similar to that what you would find on let's play channels like The Yogscast.

Additional soundtracks, Relics and story lines sounds lovely. The early game is my favourite part largely due to the exploration and discovery. It is nice that this now might extend to the mid/late game.

There's already an event for a parallel universe in the base game but it would be hilarious if a wrong selection resulted in the mirror empire entering our universe to wage war. It wouldn't need to be a crisis!

I wouldnt mind seeing a Parallel universe. There is that one event where you meet your own empire but they went warp drive over hyperlanes. Could be a way to aquire warp drives. Could send a fleet to their side to assist in fighting their warp beast. There is also that one extra-galactic ship that you find around a star then you are hailed by that same ship later on.

@@ecogreen123 You would need some place holder encounters to prevent coding errors for those with no save files. But the second you save, you can encounter your save file empire...which in the same play though could be interesting depending on story trees. As for multiplayer it would be host's save file. Having a doubleganger empire siding with rival players. Someone could hot seat swap/join as the doubleganger empire too and try upstage the host.

Okay here's a theory for the ''Ruined Planet" Portal, they're currently going thru their end-game crisis (The Invaders ). Which may indicate a 4th crisis? Maybe once you help them they'll go thru the astral rift and spawn as the 4th crisis in your Dimension.

Personally i feel the dlc teams are going too into the macro of space concepts instead of the micro. I get that its flashy for a trailer etc but why not less grand dlc and more pop quality of life dlc ingame. Be cool to be able to say have a ressurection feature where if you find a precursor homeplanet or an ally gets purged and you retake their capital you could try clone a few pops to restart their civilisation as a vassal. Stuff like that is niche enjoyable things but they add up.

If anyone can help me out with a Stellaris question as I’m trying to look it up and I can’t find anything about it I appreciate it. I’m playing on the Xbox one version of stellaris with almost all DLC’s now my question is this simulation sites increase unity output by 5% and I know it can be upgraded to increase more but my question is, does that also affect coordinator jobs like should I put a simulation site on a unity planet with an alpha hub to get to the most unity or does simulation sites do not affect it at all if somebody can answer, I will appreciate it

I would be thrilled to have the overall game mechanics balanced and fixed before they add new content. Don't get me wrong, this is the type of content I have been wanting for a long time but the game as a whole is a mess right now. Paradox needs to quit trying to reinvent the wheel with this game. If they want to change core mechanics that badly they should make Stellaris 2.
