Had a crack at this already, the storms are WILD, visuals look INSANE, and I can definitely see some fun combinations when you’re able to attract certain storms to your empire. Still loving Season 8 so far, and those 3D animations for this trailer were INCREDIBLE, looking forward to more 😁

I have such a cool idea for Stellaris! What if you can not only use the specified lines but also use other ways like before, but these other ways cost more time, with a waste factor like a dice! And depending on how you roll the dice, it can cost more or less time to travel differently, which would still get so much out of it tactically , Because then it's a serious matter to take a different path than the direction indicated and tactically something like that could be an advantage or a disadvantage depending on the dice!

@@letsplaysvonaja1714 We wouldn’t be so annoyed, but for some reason, porting existing content is somehow harder for the Console team than it is for the Stellaris team to come up with new ideas, create concept art, new models, music, background art, an early build, and constantly polishing, refining, and balance these new features, until they think it’s ready to release into the game.

My favorite part was being bored with everything at first and deciding, well, let’s see where this new precursor story leads at least, and once I’m like halfway though (I assume), the next archeological site spawns halfway across the galaxy and cut off by a Fallen Empire. Really cool.

I have a great idea for possible additions especially for the developers. In the next updates, create the "Divine Descendants" origin with its own story. Spiritualists will believe that their race was created by an ancient race of Archons. Backstory. This mysterious race was able to succeed in creating various forms of life and creating new habitable worlds in the Galaxy. The Archons, thanks to their philosophy, could not imagine their life without travel. They built the Gates to travel freely through space. But one galaxy was not enough for them. To reach other worlds, they built new Gates in the galactic core, which were supposed to open paths into the depths of space. But instead, the Gates erupted Collapse, which turned the once mighty Empire into ruins. Planets turned to ashes in a matter of months, many Archons died, and the survivors wandered among the ruins and cursed the dark skies. The few survivors went underground, hiding from the consequences of the cataclysm, where they soon died out. Centuries passed, much was forgotten that should not have been forgotten. History became a legend, the legend became a myth. Our time. One of the young races studies the chronicles extracted from the Monoliths of Memory under the thickness of the ancient temple in the homeland of the Archons. From the records it is learned that the Collapse is multifaceted, so even describing its properties is very difficult. But any living intelligent being now knows that no matter what the Collapse is, it always brings only one thing - death. And if it returns, we must be ready. New technologies. By studying the ancient technology of the Archons, a branch of restoration of planets split by planetary catastrophes will open. Then it will transform them into habitable worlds. Phase 1. Creating a foundation. Ships created according to ancient blueprints, manipulating atoms of chemical elements, re-create the core and crust of the planet, turning it into a lava world. Phase 2. Geological stabilization. Stabilization of the tectonic activity of the planet and excludes the formation of new volcanoes, which will allow the planet to cool to the state of an icy lifeless world. First Contact and Galactic Paragons. :D Been looking forward to merking some non-people people on my PS5 stellaris for a while now, (can only merk so hard on the PC version you know!) Looking forward to Cosmic Storms on console next year too. : ) But... MAYBE ya'll could work on some performance issues again? (And maybe look into giving us 800 system worlds? xD If we can't have 1,000... We do have the PS5. Look into updating us to the PS/xbox console for that, Missing out on so much potential.)

Please please give us an update or dlc focused on ground combat and invasions. That's an area of the game that's gotten no attention at all. When you invade a planet there is no cinematics. Let us see some ground combat even if it's a procedural terrain map with the battle taking place. Please Paradox you all are the best. Another cool thing would be giving us the option to start pre FTL as from primitive on. Give us something to do on the planets with ground combat.

Tbh, feels like filler DLC. After cosmogenisis, i was wondering if there would be some kind of DLC that not only, finally updates the old and partially broken FA shipset, but let you continue on. Sure you have millions worth of weight and fleet power, but if there was a timeless nemesis that isnt as simple as any other crisis, compelling you to turn the galaxy to your side while they do the same too would'v been awesom. Let me have my vorlon power fantasy darnit.
